There currently is a major youth movement that has taken over the professional tournament bass fishing scene. There are more people mad about it then not for various reasons. They think the kids are just out there playing video games..... lets talk about that! I am here to tell you these kids know more about bass fishing then you may know.

The only one lure I've never even used in freshwater is a spoon. Maybe I'll try it this weekend.

For sure! I fished it at certain times before FFS. Had sucess with smaller ones in winter and the bigger one in the summer but with FFS it had became a year round bait for me 👍🏽

If scopers can compete without FFS, why are they so afraid to lose their FFS during competition?

Probably cause they know they can’t compete or even be in the elites

The few I know have stated they are not scared. They said take it away! But after using it... then fishing without it... which I have done a lot lately, it sure does make the day go more efficient.

I like the FFS don’t use unless catching crappies at times I may on bass pretty simple method , that being said if it’s all about the kids some kids parents can afford an lot of parents can’t so how does that make it fair , it’s not , next the pros should just enjoy it while they can use instead of trying to get it banned , in for it however I’m not for it when other parents can’t afford for there kids that fish high school. I would like to hear back from you on this , that fish the moment has put out the best stuff on the internet that has ever been out there.

Yeah appreciate your thoughts on this. This is a topic that bothers me as well. Competitive Fishing has turned into golf. With that it is just part of life and life is not fair. You can make fishing out of the best of your situation. I share that as I was one of those kids. My parents did not have a boat, did not fish tournaments. I did fish the jr circuit before it became the event HS fishing has become. Jonny and I fished together a lot as we are good friends. I fished with him and other adults that had boats. One of those adults let me use their boat as my own which I am so thankful for. It only had mapping and 2D sonar. I bought my first boat as a 24 year old. I got my second boat as a 28 year old and it is the same one I own today. It is 17 years old. I somehow made it into the fishing industry full time and I never ever had a desire to fish in the elites. I wanted to find a way in and I got my opportunity and have made the best out of it. I share this to inspire other kids that was like me as a young kid!

Yeah money is becoming a factor for sure in tournament fishing. It is the monster the industry has created in the sport...
