Faith juice subject, the best advice you have given to date. I hope every young person takes this to heart. Birds of a feather, flock together. You do become who you surround yourself with. Keep up the good work.

Man that’s cool to Hear! I never heard of them being a player up north. I know in Texas they can be. Here in Arkansas it can be timely and I have not nailed it yet.

Here's a tip for ya with the hover-rig, Get yourself one or 2 of the strongest tiny rubber bands (the type they use for braces) and put it around the bait either right in the middle (if using only one), or place one near the tie point and one at the back of the back of the hook. It really does help to keep the bait and the weight with the hook better and it does not get shook off as easily. I use the X-Heavy bands and it has helped me keep my soft plastic baits and nail weights a lot longer now. You can usually get them from any pharmacy or online. Try it out, I am sure you will catch more baits on the same bait and not have to re rig as often. ;) Oh and don't leave them on after you are done fishing. Sometimes they react with some of the soft plastic baits out there and they will melt them. lol.

Interesting tip there! What made you think of this?
@RagnarrBjornАй бұрын
@@TheFishingCoach I got tired of losing baits and nail weights. LOL You can also take all the wire off of like a metal bread twist tie and use that, it might work better with certain plastics if you have fear of them melting. I've done that before also, all you have to do is peel off the plastic coating and use the bare little wire. Again you might want to remove that though because that little metal will rust rather quickly, and I'm sure it would probably stain light-colored plastics.

You ever throw a Jerk bait for spots this time of year?
@TheFishingCoachАй бұрын
I have not. I have pulled it out on recent ffs lesson trips. If they are schooling we have caught em with it. Just not fishing traditionally at cover / structure
