When I started connecting with myself and loving myself more, it totally changed my outlook on life. I trusted myself more and I became more engaged in the things that I wanted to do to be a better mother, a better sister, a better friend, and wife. Love yourself..😊

Ok but now what. There are many KZbins about histamine intolerance & this is a thorough one but I still don’t see a protocol or how to treat it except to figure it out yourself.
@4elizabeth12 күн бұрын
You have to go on a low histamine diet. You can find a list of high histamine foods on google and just avoid those foods. Also, histamine overload can be because you’re not producing enough DAO which is the enzyme in our bodies that BREAKS DOWN histamine. So you can take a DAO supplement for support. Dr Michael Ruscio here on YT has some info on histamine.

As someone who has fought my symptoms since covid - for the insomnia: do not underestimate allergies near and around your head. The bed! Your face. Your skincare. The ring on your finger is it dirty. The air in your room. The clothes you're wearing to bed. How clean your legs or the arm your sleeping on is. Is your hair tie allergened? Your hair - clarifying charcoal shampoo try that. Watch out for surprising allergens. My husband and i if we lie "wide awake" we hunt that sucker down. And we find something specific every time thats getting us sick. Just a big tip!

Yes. Yes. But I can't get past the denial. It's not a superpower. We weren't born with it. It's new and under reported. It has a cause and needs to be cured. I hate that its becoming the new normal.

Dr. Casey is great! I'm 70 and lost trust in doctors years ago. I believe they know the system is corrupt and still participate willingly. They're certainly not heroes.

Listen to Energy Balance podcast. Polyunsaturated fats are the bad ones. I bought the low fat craze for 20 years and my nerves were shot! I felt terrible for years. Also listen to -Rooted in Resilience podcast. Some excellent ones in there. Losing weight with metabolic syndrom is next to impossible as they are starving and still fat. The above podcasts address this

I have histamine flares around ovulation and before my period , estrogen raises histamine and histamine then raises more estrogen my symptoms are fluid, headaches insomnia, dizzy , nausea, foggy head , eye twiching ringing ear , itchy skin , itchy burning eyes , mucas , sensitive to strong chemical smells , fluro lights and stress, body temperature changes low dao enzyme, low progesterone, progesterone by the way helps calm down histamine , and if your perimenapause its so frustrating and doctors are uneducated in this stuff..

“Know your capacity” I love it. I wish someone had said that to me in my 20s! Thank you both for this interview. I relate to all of it…and 100% believe that meditation/prayer/honoring ancestors, Ayurveda, acupuncture/herbs and elimination diets have not only saved my life but have helped me heal and rediscover my wholeness in astounding ways. I am 48 and so proud to see two young women openly discussing and sharing this topic so crucial to survival in the modern age. To quote a saying popularized by Wayne Dyer, “Do the Tao”. 🙏😌
