No one should wait 6,7,10k for service. Change you oil at least every 3k miles. I myself change the oil on all my Bikes between 2.5-3k Keep your engines clean. 10k service is ridiculous, and only for Beta-Chimps who are not mechanically inclined to work on their own bikes.

Good review. I’ve only done 10k miles on my 22 but would just want to say that once I updated all the software etc for the Bluetooth connectivity and followed the instructions pretty religiously on my iPhone, it all works fine now but was a pain in the initial setup but I tend to use it only for a nicely visible ‘turn nav’ though, and have a TomTom (on silent) as well for the complex stuff. I don’t use it for sounds or phone. I have an hpCorse Italian made end can and it sounds so good I feel it was worth every penny of the absurd price plus Brexit tax I paid but the stock IS good too. Thanks for the blanking plate rec. I will get one.

I've had the software updated and it does indeed connect ok, but in all honesty I prefer using my phone for navigation. That said, if you wanted a minimalist cockpit, it will do the job! I am now craving a HP Corse end can, cheers for that! 😅

you call the suspension firm , do you mean the springs in it ? i own a new tuono since 3 weeks and im getn used to it now , gonna track it . i was thinking the springs might be a bit weak , as i am 72kg and the rear doesnt feel firm . i have an apointment coming week with a suspension guy to setup the sag of the bike correctly . most bikes have good springs for my weight , never had a too soft suspension as i weight as much as an italian or japanese guy ( what they aim for as thats default in italy/japan)
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers 2 күн бұрын
In comparison to my other bikes it felt firm, but if i'd have been keeping the bike long term I would have had the suspension properly set up for me like you. I tried fettling myself but could never quite get it 100%. I remember having my old Street Triple R professionally set up for me and it totally transformed the bike!

Hi i need your help 😁 I am currently very torn between the Tiger 850 Sport and this Tiger 660. Cant decide? Can you tell me how you think they compare in terms of performance and handling and comfort etc. I like a light bike but sometimes will take a pillion with me.
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers 11 күн бұрын
Hey, so in my opinion, if it was my own money, I would probably go for the 660 over the 850. It's just that little bit lighter and all round easier to move around, while being an extremely fun bike to ride. The 660 has got plenty enough power wise and handles a bit sportier than the 850. In terms of spec, there's not a huge amount to differentiate them anyway, the tft is nicer on the 850 but I found the wind screen better on the smaller bike. When it comes to running costs, the 660 wins hands down with 10k miles service intervals compared to 6k. The 850 will be better at carrying a pillion and is more roomy however. It just depends what your priorities are!
@garystratton8731

@@ukveganbikers Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. How would you think they compare in acceleration side by side? Will the 660 be ok for me and my partner do you think. I like the 660 and they are offering good deals on them 👍
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers 11 күн бұрын
In acceleration side by side I think they'll be pretty similar, the engine in the 660 is definitely a bit sportier though. How often will you be carrying a pillion do you think? If its going to be quite often, the 850 will have the edge in that department, but that said I think the 660 wouldn't be too bad either.

The Question is : Why are Police Officers Training Citizens on Riding Motorcycles ?!?! Don't we have Advanced Training organisations ? Sounds like a money spinner, they get paid for doing this & get paid to protect the public, when their actual Job is to be out in the public Domain protecting the population from crime ! What makes a police officer a more competent driver than the average person ? So why is this Training not made available to the general public. Something smells bad here & I believe it's all about Money 💰
@stephenkav
@stephenkav Ай бұрын
The answers are: Because they are highly trained professional motorcycles and this is a safety initiative not a training course. Yes many, and people are encouraged to train with them. The police do not get paid extra for doing this. Police attend where operational need allows. They are usually traffic officers(not always) and road safety education is part of their role. Many months of advanced training over numerous courses makes them more competent than the average motorist(again, usually, not always) It's about safety, nobody is making a profit from this.
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers Ай бұрын
You are missing the point. The police do not make money on these courses, if anything, they probably make a loss. It is about education and encouraging safer riding, hopefully resulting in a few less statistics on the roads.
