Interesting that they have to take an HIV test for you! Finger prick blood tests were normal in my childhood. They did them every year in the 80s and 90s! I don't mind them because of it. I felt so sad watching you do your best to get your finger pricked. Look at you getting the make up down now! I can't believe how fast your kids are growing already. Hope your sleep gets better.

The prayers sent out by Dad and the Midwives so beautiful! My births were nothing like this (over three decades ago). But my goodness was I blessed by being a witness here. I cannot fathom natural childbirth, at home without a yell, scream, cry or even a whimper. I had 4 without pain meds and I found it impossible to be calm and quiet. I'm in shock and awe!
