Wanted to share some thoughts on the idea that we can just be a "casual" Christian. There's so much more. Have any thoughts? Share them in the comments :)
With love,

I think a big flaw in American Christianity is the idolization of politics. People think that being a faithful republican = being a faithful Christian.

Oop!🙈 unfortunately that is true in many circles. “Yes I love my kingdom more than I love my nation” -KB

Do you have an example you could share? Of the republicans in my circle, I tend to find their priority on morality issues leads them to vote conservatively. I don't personally know of anybody that thinks they are a faithful Christian because they voted for a flawed candidate. No man is perfect, only Jesus. I think it's perfectly acceptable for a Christian to vote for a democrat! But also, I've never heard a Christian say, "Even though I know that homosexuality and abortion are sins normalized in our culture, I am voting for X democrat because I believe in elevating the poor through government programs" or something along those lines. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule! But more often than not, I only hear "Christians" justifying sin while defending their choice candidate. Jesus calls us to love the lowest in our society, and he also calls us to righteousness. The government can legislate both in a sense, the question most people have to ask themselves is what concessions do they have to make when voting? In the end it's all quite trivial, because a real Christian understands we are in the world but we are not of the world.

@dirtdiv3r I think for me personally I’ve witnessed the more far right conservatives treat politics as a form of gospel, yet their households are in disorder, they aren’t particularly kind or compassionate people outside of their voting, and basically politics are their personality as the children say these days lol. They don’t really resemble Christ in their approach or how they empathize with people. But I 100% can say the same for the other side of more progressive, liberal “Christian’s” as well.

Hello! Thanks for making this video! It speaks so much truth that people don't want to hear. My wife and I felt this way about American Christianity and American culture in general and sold everything to move to Jordan to be a light in that part of the world. We thought we'd find like-minded individuals in Jordan in the mission field, but even then it was difficult as even many missionaries hold their organizational policies as almost more important than scripture itself, and nobody was there independently like we were. Many were even afraid to say the name of Jesus. When they asked "What's your vision for being here?" it always struck me as such a weird question. Our goal no matter where we are is to tell others about Jesus, how much more complicated does it need to be? Unfortunately our house in the United States didn't sell even after two years on the market, and so even though we intended to live in the Middle East long term, we had to return home and resume our lives. But it changed the way that we perceived comfort and convenience, and I think we really try to assess everything we buy and see if it's a need or not. We also are trying to be more intentional in opening our home to foster for community, and we just housed a homeless person for two months while they were trying to find a more permanent solution. I've always said it's more difficult to be a Christian here in the United States than it is elsewhere, and I think it has a lot to do with consumerism and distraction. Anyways, I appreciate you putting your thoughts out there!

Your experience in Jordan reminded of the saying "wherever you go, there you are", and I think it applies to christians as well. Sometimes our environment doesn't change our heart, and thats unfortunate. I love that you took what you learned in the middle east & have applied it to your local community. Thats exactly what we need! People who are others minded & care more about the glory of the Lord being known than our own comforts. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective 💛

Says noone who believes in what Acts 11:26; 17:22; 26:28; Colossians 2:18; James 1:26-27; 1 Peter 4:16 says about Christianity which alone is ReLigion which leaves no room for mysticism which is intrinsically pagan.

You are saying you have the true Christianity, you want to leave the main religion. Contradicts your Hebrew Israelites video. If you say no I didn't because i'm not saying my belief of leaving is the only way to be saved . Then it would make your video irrelevant because Christians wouldn't have to change anything about themselves or what They're doing just stay in the mainstream religion they're still saved. Revelation 13 "Those who lead into captivity will go into captivity " Do you believe that? No you dont.. .what race and skin color is Jesus? White? Black? Middle eastern "Olive skin? He has to be one. Which one do you pray to? And if younsay it doesnt matter. The Scriptures say to worship him in Spirit and Truth. And yes it matters

I’m convinced you didn’t even watch the video lol. & even if you did, based on your comment I’m not sure you get the point of the Bible. Praying it be revealed to you in full and you have eyes & ears to see and hear.

@EarthyAly i did watch the video. Speaking of ears to hear Revelation 13:9-10 9 "If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 “He who leads into captivity, Shall go into captivity. He who kills with the sword, Must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." And they have been patient all these years they have waited for 400+ years Generation to Generation.. This is their faith and hope to be freed from this final captivity.. Jeremiah 16:19. Again You have a safe Thanksgiving And Black Friday! This year. Peace.

@@Yanel5795 I watched that too AND this one and I'm wondering why she has to be so vague? If she knows something that apparently the average person does not know why keep it a secret? If you really cared about getting the "truth" out wouldn't you share it rather than relying on people to interpret it how YOU interpreted it?? they're going to interpret it how THEY interpret it regardless. If I have been learning false teachings that contradict scripture, tell me so I can get started on learning REAL TRUTH. PLEASE dont keep it a secret lol

I agree. More traditions have been kept in the Orthodox circles. It is older and more authentic then Catholicism. I think Catholicism strayed too far away from the original intent and corrupted itself somehow in the process. I found the Orthodox Christians of Ethiopia to be very interesting and mesmerizingly well dressed when I visited there :D
