So many people comment on my videos and tell me that I have such a calm voice.... And I honestly don't know what it is that they are experiencing because I'm so used to the sound of my own voice .... But as I listened to you, I felt this incredible calm that I wonder if THIS is what people are referring to when they say sweet things about the sound of my voice. Your voice is so beautifully calming.... Even more is that you are a BELIEVER 🥹.... This blesses my heart so much! Praying for you girl 🫶🏾

Yey sit down videos! I love slow living in my small apartment/two family home. :) - It is very good to be able to enjoy what we have. Slow living for me is where I can enjoy doing things at a slower pace. While some people have washing machines to do their laundry, I do not and do them by hand. Where people like dish washers, I like hand washing. Where people will drive somewhere, others will walk. It is embracing the things around you and paying attention to the details without being into the massive technological mindset. It is sewing your blanket instead of buying one. Things like that. :) Cottagecore is really a love for things that are Victorian and Edwardian style. I grew up with a mom who always loved those time periods, and it was passed down to me. I love it, but I don't really have too much of anything that would be considered that, because I am also a minimalist who doesn't want stuff. . .and most cottagecore people LOVE stuff.

I think there is real value to be had when working with your hands , you can have some of the most inspired ideas when you are doing something as simple as washing the dishes in warm soapy water , when we halt self comparison with what others have or do we feel more contented, getting outside in nature for a walk or doing a bit gardening or simply cloud watching or nature watching is an amazing mood boost , really we are just all doing the best we can with our life as it it xx

👏 👏 👏 yeeeeeessss!! Thank you. Thank you for speaking up about this. I’ve been talking about this for years and it’s one of the reasons I stopped making KZbin content around slow living: I was tired of the aesthetic and the expectations that slow living had to look like a cottage core short film lol After people see content over and over again with the same look and feel, people naturally start to believe that slow living IS cottage core. Beautiful voice and so eloquently said. Subscribed! ❤

I live in a town on a busy road lots of vehicles and people noise all around for me slow quiet living for me comes from within yourself it the creativity, focus is on home what you value in life, the little everyday things love of your family and to the beauty within yourself to share with others, the practice of the stillness from within is unlearning to rush, to untick all the to do or to be, its stepping back, life goes on all around us bills have to be paid food needs to be bought, grown prepared and eaten, the house needs jobs to be done, conflicts and worries will arises with others, finding your own niche within all of it and be grateful that you are there to be part of it all and cultivate the peace from within slow living is accessible to everyone to choose if its a fit from them in their life its a choice

I love living out of the “current”. It does develop a heart of gratitude as you experience that God made all of us with talents and abilities and when we can slow down we have the time to grow in them.
