Fkin love the raw, gritty and ugly sound quality! Suits the the song & early motorhead beautifully

The Pink Fairies original version from their 1973 Kings of Oblivion album is the best version of this Larry Wallis song. Punk before punk.

man i need to listen motorhead more often, I am from 96s and now I'm into deftones, linkin park, korn, slipknot (not their new stuff) but I had to remember myself that those guys are like the ancient gods of metal, its kinda crazy how those guys were so far from their time.

Great rock n roll.... Lemmy nailed it, as he said.. We play rock n roll... The guy wrote like a modern day coleridge, if he was 19c he was the knew Coleridge.. But never ever got credit for his lyrics. In 200 years I'm sure he will!!

Larry Wallis (Pink Fairies) released a 1977 single for Stiff with "half" of Eddie and the Hot Rods as a backing band. Probably the best version.
