For anyone who's worked a security job, you'll know it can't be staffed solely by nice guys; one or two help the mix but mob mentality being what it is situations will occur that bring out the worst on all sides where guards too nice to break heads or lock horns with the tougher prisoners will end up doing their bidding and simply looking the other way on things that are wrong. Through action or inaction an equal amount of harm can be done.

Good drama up until the obrains moving next door to bezza and Patricia leaving and ridiculous high camp after that. It was still worth watching even with the high camp.😂

I loved this show 👍🏻 it aired in the UK as an early afternoon show , I used to watch it with my first boyfriends Mum .

The acting was top notch and as for the foley sound effects well all you need in this scene was a clapper board 🎬 🙂👍

I always thought that was bad editing more than anything, I think it was meant to show Steve kicking Margo, Jane Clifton was meant to climb down and lay on the floor, then cut back to her laying there. I think her climbing down wasn't meant to be part of the shot

Yes, if she'd screamed at the right time and they'd cut away, with a thud sound, then cut back to a long shot and jumped in to a close-up it would have worked really well. Usually the directing on Prisoner was actually pretty good, but this was one of the worst scenes. I remember Margo "fighting" aka tickling with another girl once.
