I loved son's and daughters back in the 80s I would sneak out of school at 3 o'clock and run home to watch son's and daughters at 3 30 in the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧 good memories

The early years of Sons & Daughters were superb soap fodder, with inventive storylines and character development. It lost its way a bit in the last couple of years, with crazier and crazier plots. But in a way, this was fun too; to see just how unhinged the story could become. One thing's for sure: the show would have been nothing without Rowena. First class casting there. Hats off.

yea the show in the later years became nothing as rowena left, after that it went into a terminal downward spiral.

Rowena Wallace sounds like Kathleen Turner, I really admire Rowena's honesty and down to earth nature, she has no notions of herself and tells it as it is. She admits she made a mistake in leaving, few actors do that when they abondon a role and it doesn't work out. She always keeps a touch of humour too even when talking of her misfortunes and that's hard to find.

Watching this reunion makes me feel less sad than others because all the participants in this Sons and Daughters reunion are still alive today,in 2022.

Remember watching this as a youngster when it was broadcast in the UK. Always thought Ally Fowler was absolutely beautiful in the show and equally so when she went on to star in Neighbours afterwards. 30 years on and my god she still looks amazing!!!....Sexy woman...x

It was the most cleverly written soap ever, indepth stroy lines, interesting characters, the manipulation...I watched it as a child, on ukgold,then on channel 5and am watching it all over again with my boyfriend who had never seen it,as i have them all on DVD!

was not directly in the show, was in the media the term was coined. I only watched the reruns in the 90s a decade after the show ended as a child so I too never heard the term, i think you had to be around/into the show at the time of transmission to remember it.

val lehman[bea smith] hit gold with prisoner as before she signed on she was the only 1 in the cast who got it written in that she would get royalties. Years later she claimed it caused resentment but it was likely that she had a savvy agent or that she was just a very hard headed business woman. Eitherway the cast cannot blame her for her good negoiating.
