Help. I have a n scale Kato u25b. Runs great till you stop. Seems to have a dead spot in the motor. If I turn the motor a hair with my finger, it runs again. What's going on?

I own five C&O U25bs…2 Cheesie units 8108 and 8127.. Three blue units … older Atlas/Kato 2500 and 2537… An modern Atlas..2536..The 2536 has knuckle couplers and my other four units has rapedos couples… It good to see you repairing one… I can use this video as a future guid.. I model the C&O railroad and about 95 percent my locomotives are C&O… The other locomotives are a few Seaboard, a couple CSX, and one Conrail and a Norfolk Southern F-unit… Thank You for your latest video… I enjoy looking at them.. How have you gotten yours to run so smooth because I bought mine back several years ago when Con Cor found new old stock of this locomotive and they released them again as a limited time I've never been able to get mine to run smooth at all

I got good news, the loco pulled 49, not 48 cars! When you got to #38, you went to 40, the next car you started back to 39. So, in your victory lap, I counted the cars n counted 49 cars one car better! 😁

I just bought an fef 844, seller said it was non operational, n its not! Motor seems seized, was smelling. I ordered new parts thought I needed, but not the motor. After I tear it down if I need a new motor I'll reorder. 48 freight cars is a lot o cars!
