Please check your concept again If you are considering block work 1 Sqmt then why are you giving analysis of morter for complete 1 Sqmt.. it should be qty of morter required for 1 Sqmt block work dude.

@@SaadyChohan I have downloaded and imported the PlugIn but when I click on the bottom, I get a pop-up window asking me to activate Change Takeoff Item 1.0. When I click on Activate Now, I get an error stating, "We are unable to activate your license at this time. Please try activating again"

Everyone has different methods for preparing templates. Even if someone prepared and shared a template, it’s not guaranteed that others can benefit or understand it, as there are calculations involved based on different standards and approaches. I recommend you create your own templates. If you need support, i can guide you, Please contact me through Instagram. The best way to start is by creating a formula to get the quantity on an Excel sheet first and then applying the same logic in PlanSwift.

Okay for some reason I just tried this with two of my jobs and it did not work. What do I do if there are the same takeoff items and pages in each job? When I try to paste the takeoff and pages it says you have duplicate items. I do landscaping estimates so there are going to be the same types of hardscape and plant material on several jobs. Will this method not work for that situation?

Multiple Software are used. It depends on the location/ Region and the project that you are working in. I personally use software such as PlanSwift, CostX and BlueBeam.

The legend will always show you the take off result and unit based on the quantity property. If you need to adjust you can right click on any items, go to advance and properties and then you can find the list of the property. But there is one property called qty property. Whatever the formula is there, that is the formula the results will be baaed on. And whatever the units are defined there, the same unit will be displayed later. So that is how you can customise your legend Hope you got the idea.
