One thing you are missing, you directly calculate the material from mixing ratio, where you should 1st calculate the volume of material required for motor and then separate the cement and sand content. 2nd you are calculating for sqm start you material with cum and suddenly change the material to sqm, please look into it most of student following you including me

Thankyou for this wonderful series, there is a problem with unit rate calculation in this video, though you have taken blocks ,tools and labour in meter square , when it comes to cement and sand it is taken in cubic meter and not converted into square meter for unit rate. hope you will correct this mistake.

Thank you for sharing but i think there is an issue of unit. how can one m2 of block wall use 5bags of cement an 1.33tones of sand?. i think that's too much for 1m2

Mortar cost calculation does not seem to be correct, you calculated mortar $/m3 , you didn't take into account the Mortar in 1 m2.
@patrickugwu88662 жыл бұрын
Ben, many thanks for spotting that. We would also appreciate to learn from your method of calculating mortar. In mean time what do you think of this: Cost of the 1m3 of mortar (295.85/m3) x mortar in 1m2 of wall (0.043m2) x thickness of the wall (0.2m) = Cost of mortar in 1m2 of wall. Thanks again

Thanks Ben for watching & sharing your feedback. I am sure we can learn from your experience.
@royaltee24292 жыл бұрын
@@patrickugwu8866 Say the volume of the mortar for 1m2 of wall is 0.043m2 x 0.2m thickness of wall (0.0086m3/1m2 wall). Cost of mortar(295×0.0086=2.54). Hence 2.54Aed/0.0086m3/0.043m2). **For 1m2= 2.54/0.043 =59Aed** PS- Interchange the cost of mortar for cost of cement/m3 and then Sand/m3 to get /m2
