Lincoln could’ve freed over 450,000 slaves in the 5 Union states that still had slavery. He wanted to deport them all to Liberia, even Haiti too. He supported the Corwin amendment etc. I could go all day! Lincoln was a tyrannical dictator who even suspended habeas corpus and used the military to threaten anyone who opposed him. He even shutdown 300 newspapers that opposed him.

Frederick Douglass had to argue with Lincoln who was brainwashed by the American Colonization Society, a british infultration organization set to bankrupt america, "in the case of horse thievery, you don't blame the horse, in the case of money robbery, you don't blame the money, you blame the person who in a state of despairation maintains that system"

Bennett is correct Lincoln didn't free one slave. Lincoln offered the South in the Emancipation Proclamation if the South would come back to the Union by January 31, 1983 they could keep their slaves. Slaves would only be Emancipated in states that continued to rebel after that date. If the South Seceded for slavery why didn't a tiny starving Army jump on that deal?

The only problem with that, as conservative pundit Michelle Malkin points out, is that the president was already three years old when the march occurred in 1965. He also failed to say his parents were Communist... So sick of this Lyin Ass Phony Mother Fer!!

Republican closet racist kkk. So, yeah, it’s easy to say Lincoln was a Republican and the KKK was largely built by Democrats, but by doing so you only prove your own ignorance of history. You’re ignoring the fact that as Democrats evolved to embrace equality for African Americans, Southern racists were left looking for a new political party - and they found one that not only embraced their racism and bigotry, it sought it out. And that party they found was the Republican party.
@flbe60009 жыл бұрын
Why not cite the southern racists that left the democratic party and joined the republican party? Did Robert Byrd switch? Remember some of his famous words? What you democrats have embraced is the soft racism of low expectations. The new slavery.

My most painful annual American irony is to watch Dr. Martin Luther King giving his speech in front of Lincoln's statue. That memorial should be renamed "The Freedom Memorial" with Lincoln's statue removed and replaced by statues of 30 of the men and women who actually brought about an emancipation that Lincoln fought tenaciously against and to which he only contributed flaws from which our society still suffers.

It doesn't matter -- really he's no better or worse than any of the rest. Anyone who gets near the presidency is part of the same game. Whether it's Obama or maybe Hillary Clinton next or just back to Old White Man #1244326, it's all the same because no one who will ever be allowed anywhere NEAR real power in this country is going to be on our (meaning we the ordinary, non-wealthy, non-elite people) side. The real owners of the country would never allow it to be otherwise.

This guy is an idiot. Obama is a pure businessman. He doesn't give a FLYING FUCK whether you are white or black. All Obama cares about is his wallet, his socialist ideals, and power, and everything he signs benefits him, his politician friends, and business associates. People like this nappy headed idiot do NOTHING but confuse and twist the issue.

Not true.He is the President of the United States not the President of black ppl. He is to ensure everyone has the same opportunitys as everyone else.If he were to put all his focus in our community he would be just as bad as the previous Presidents we had who only ensured progression for the wealthy and white. He can not pass laws that is not up to him.He doesn't even have as much power as we like to think.Bills and laws are passed by Congress. Start paying attention to elected State officials.

The man had bigger fish to fry. I understand Dr. West's speech though. I in fact did not vote for Obama in the Primary for many reasons but I am glad he is our President and he has tried his best to keep his word. When it comes to equality and fairness he has done the best he can to get bills and laws changed to better America as a whole without eliminating or forget the less fortunate or minorities.

We look over C- Span to get to VH1 and watch Love and Hip Hop. We have got to remember our purpose. It is so easy to fall into stereotypical behaviors. We can't get upset when ppl see us how they see us and treat us how they treat us because we are apart of the problem. We have to hold ourselves accountable before we can hold the justice system or any entity accountable. I love my ppl but more importantly I love the world and we ARE apart of it, so let's not let it keep going on without us.
