No, the March happened 4 years AFTER he was born. Obama was born in 1961, the Selma Alabama Civil Rights march happned in 1965. So how did his parents meet at that march and concieved him 4 years AFTER he was born. Did his mother have a time machine and went back to 1961 to have him?

Abner Mikva became Obama's political advisor and suggested he learn more effective public speaking from observing preachers. Mikva said of Obama: He listened to patterns of speech, how to take people up the ladders. Its almost a Baptist tradition to make someone faint, and, by God, hes doing it now.

Wasn't he born in 1961? And the March in Selma was in 65?

I'm open to both sides...but not sure what you mean by people were not listening. As a public speaker...you're supposed to scan the audience...not stare at one person. He's not looking back and 4th ...looking for someone who is listening. Even if you don't like Obama, you have to admit he is interesting to listen to. Anyways regarding his lies...that's what I'm investigating right now..pretty interesting videos up here. Feel free to send me any links of him being dishonest. Very open thnx

A person should never be judged by their physical attributes, but by their actions. The character of a person IS in how they overcome adversity. Obama may have overcome adversity, but he never triumphed over the deep rooted bitterness. A person who overcomes his own weaknesses and flaws has truly won. If you can master yourself, you can master anything.

In 2000 when Abner Mikva campaigned on Obama's behalf throughout Chicago. Obama failed to make it into Congress and Mikva said that one reason was that Obama didn't know how to speak to black audiences on the South Side. "He got clobbered in the black areas since he came across as a Harvard Law professor," he recalled.

by Obama's senate bid four years later, the state senator had come a long way as an orator. "When he spoke to black audiences in 2004 he had the rhythm and knew how to speak. He could have taught a thing or two to Dr. [Martin Luther] King." Barack Obama: America's First Jewish President! huffington post November 14, 2008

What a damned liar. Also, he's wrong about the dates. It couldn't possibly have happened the way he said it did.

he said, "Senior" got sent over from Africa and got married and had "Junior"; that being him. There's always someone trying to find fault with someone else. Always searching for the negative. Doesn't putting so much energy into fault-finding ever tire. I just don't get you people sometimes.

Actually, there's a LOT I like about Ron Paul. But he's unelectable - unless he were running against Jimmy Carter. He would make a great cornerstone to Romney's administration. I'd put him in charge of the Federal Reserve.

some of you all need to listen to his speech.............he stated that his grandfather and his father got wind of what was going on in the States and a genesis of a movement against the inequalities and perversion of the rights of all men........he later said the Kennedys helped and his father (sr) got one of those tickets.....clearly possible....selma happened in march 1965............Robert Kennedy was assasinated april 1968......so yes the dates matches and is possible.

It's his fake black dialect. Y'know how they speak in the ghettos of Hawaii and Haarvard Yard.. :)

He didnt say exactly that, but has also said he supports a palestinian state. You have to understand that the Jewish leaders and community are a very powerful force in the Democratic vote and the whole national vote as a whole. He has someway appeal to them. I still have hope in him, and i know he will have to do a lot of old tricks, but so far he has been a lot, and a mean a LOT cleaner than the rest of the candidates. Not to mention the Republican ones, that are just flip flops.

I think you're completely wrong. He's very independent. The left pressures him to support the ridiculous notion that Israel is an apartheid state. (A claim with little to no basis in reality whatsoever) The fact that he believes in speaking the truth instead of bowing to what other people tell him to say makes him only a better politician in my eyes.

For someone who allegedly was raised in Hawaii and Indonesia---where he learned to speak English---and then went to colleges in California and back East, would speaking with a southern dialect and/or ghetto dialect be part of his "learned" speech pattern. Does using a feigned dialect give some kind of "legitimacy" or "authenticity" with black voters?
