Love woodhaven products. Your ultra track helped me level up the Ridgid R4560 fence. I love it so much. Very cool looking solution. I bet the quality is top notch. I hope you guys sell a million of them

Bought the large one for a mitre lock project but couldn't use it for that because one piece has to be run vertically on the fence and both pieces need to be set up the same distance from the router bit. Good for materials that are run horizontally on router table like rails and stiles. Now looking for a smaller one as the large one is a bit bulky for most projects. Very well put together I may add.

I wonder how it compares to the Leigh RTJ400? There’s so few jigs that work off the router table top - usually the best way to router.

Robust design using standard aluminum and phenolic structural components that can be expanded. Good hardware packs and instructions. Sled and rails all went together in less than an hour. Minor tweaks to tighten everything square. Smooth XY motion and stable due to heft. Best points: 1) Very reasonably priced for what you get; better quality than expected and MUCH better than what I could make on my own 2) Standard hardware and aluminum extrusions means you can easily replace or expand this jig 3) Can be disassembled easily for storage and transportation

Is there a guide for the MiterMatic 950 angle guide that used to come with the 4910 miter gauge? I bought mine in 2011 and it was included in the Deluxe Miter Gauge Kit. It is, without a doubt, the finest miter gauge around.

I'm considering this jig but would need to be able to run boards as wide as 17"... can this be done as long as my table is wide enough and I maybe clamp to the jig for stability?

The huge round edges in the corners make it look obviously fake and cheap. I like the idea, a lot of companies use CNC milled MDF-HDF panels for doors but use a stepped bit or very fine bit for the corners so they actually look like a real 5 piece door.

You need to be sure to get short router bushings. The porter cable 3/4" bushing is too long and protrudes down past the plastic guide plates your router sits on. I had to cut my bushing down so it would clear the work piece. If they used a thicker piece of plastic on top it would help for more bushings on the market.
@neilcruz7405

Looks excellent, but I think that it needs to be larger (longer in this case) just so you can cut more than just one box every time you clamp it to the board.

I've got one of these, either I've been using it wrong, or someone set it up wrong. Mine clamps to a table and I used the router freehand. I'm going to try it this way, it might make sense.

I bought the template for 3 1/2 inch hinges and tried setting my current mortising bits with 3/8 height flutes to 3/32 routing depth and the roller bearings didn't even engage the template, so I returned it. It turns out that the height of the router bit flutes can be no more than 1/4 to allow the bearing to engage the template, so I'd have to buy another bit.

This sounds like a great way to produce faux raised panel doors at a fraction of the time and cost of the real thing, I do have one question, however. At 2:00, you suggest using veneered MDF for a solid wood appearance. If you do that, then what treatment do you suggest to cover the exposed MDF where the router cut the groves so it does not look so ugly and blends with the hardwood veneer? If the raw exposed MDF can't be covered, am I correct in believing that this is practical only for painted cabinet door applications?

Oh man, this sure would have been nice to have. I just hung five doors using the Irwin door jig. I got pretty good with it, but you don't want to look too close at what I did. Chiseling out the hinge mortise is not a lot of fun.
