The Michelin railcar dates from the 1930s, not 1914. The KD55 is ex Japanese Govt Railways 9600 Class. 251 of these were regauged from 3’-6” to Standard Gauge in 1938/9, and sent to China where they later became the KD5 Class. Subsequently, some 85 of them were regauged again to Metre Gauge, and operated in the Kunming area.
When I was a kid in China, these locomotives were also used for passenger service, being a few locomotives capable of 100kph plus on China railway at that time, they were used occasionally for express passenger trains in early 1990s

I just came to see if anyone had mentioned Mount Rushmore. Nope! Apparently only me. 😆 I looked it up and have now learnt of the abandoned theme park. 😊 At the 4 minute mark in case anyone wonders what I'm talking about. 😁

A sight I haven't forgotten in over 25 years is a steam train sitting at my local yard, when I was walking by at night seeing it's glow,
