Hard to believe it's been twenty years since I've seen Doves live! My favourite concert of all time was 2001 at the Opera House in Toronto, back when you could smoke indoors. Jimi asked for a cigarette from the crowd during the intro to The Cedar Room, so I gave him an Export A Full Flavour and lit it for him with a match. He nodded in approval at the first drag. An unforgettable experience! P.S. This particular concert holds the distinction of being the first ever Canadian appearance by The Strokes, who opened that night.
