Me and my gf just broke up after a year long relationship. We bacame a couple on Valentine's day 2019, and this song was playing in the background. I remember getting Space Face on 12" vinyl when it came out. Pink Panther Records in Carlisle. I knew they were special back then. The Coast EP was next and Inside Of This still gives me goosebumps. Heard nothing for a few years then, one night when I was stoned and watching MTV2 (when it was good), this song came on. I had no idea they were Sub Sub. Loved it immediately and loved the band ever since. Beautiful song.

Doves é sensacional, underated, conheci a primeira vez no inicio dos anos 2000, onde a MTV Brasil passava o clipe de "There goes the fear", e até hoje essa banda faz parte da minha playlist, assim comovárias do cenario britpop/ indie rock. Doves and the Beta Band, who preceded them by a couple of years showed an interesting way forward with a blend of guitars and electronica but the old fashioned thrash-and- yelp of the Libertines, Bloc Party etc gained more traction at the time.
