I'm about 45 minutes into this debate and I would like to have asked the representative from the ACLU if he is willing to allow Christianity to be as influential as in public life as it was for the founding fathers. If not, why? I think that's the key issue. Same-sex marriage IS normal, acceptable, and moral. People don't choose their sexual orientation, and as hundreds of studies show, it is not a choice.
