Can you shoot 450 SMC through that 460 Roland??
@Kornholeeoo20 күн бұрын
@@BrianEthridge-wg6ko Ip front, I would think you can but the 460 Rowland chamber is a tad longer than a 45 ACP case. Meaning there can and usually will be some buildup of stuff in that tiny area after a while of shooting 45 ACP in the 460 Rowland barrel. That’s why you are advised to clean the 460 Rowland barrel good after shooting 45 ACP through it, before shooting 460 Rowland back through it. For me, I only shoot 460 Rowland out of the 460 Rowland barrel. I shoot 45 ACP out of a different 1911. I only want to shoot the ammo that is specifically designed to be shot from that particular barrel. If that makes sense. And I would ask that you research this from a more reliable source than my video as I am no expert on the matter and I certainly would not want to give you bad advice on anything. If the 450 SMC case length is exactly the same as the 45 ACP, I would shoot it through a 45 ACP barrel only just to be safe. And make sure it is a barrel from a well known and reliable company. Great video guy!!!..... my problem is with a KSG. It's been back to KelTec 3 times already for a bent bolt carrier EVERY TIME. After firing a few shots the pump gets extremely stiff and the shell seem to get stuck in the chamber EVERY DANG TIME causing the bolt carrier to bend. KelTec has basically rebuilt this KSG 2 out of the 3 times they have had it. I just got it back two weeks ago but have not taken her back to the range yet, after thinking about the problem this thing has had EVERY TIME I thought about this being a possible solution to the shells getting stuck in the chamber afer fired. I went ahead and measured the diameter of the slugs i shoot and they all turn out to be a bit different. Federal Slug brass measures 20.20mm(new). Troy Slug brass measures 20.51mm(new) and 20.67mm(fired). Sterling Slug measures 20.40mm(new). The last two are Turkish ammo and I heard have different standards then American ammo now show after measuring the diameter of all 3 brass. I'm going to go ahead and try this before I take this KSG to the range again and get another headache with the same issue of rounds getting stuck in the chamber causing me problems. So you bought the Weaver mount instead of the Picatinny, filed the grooves to Picatinny width, and blamed Henry. FYI, the reason some red dots work and some don't is because some have hybrid mounts that work on Weaver or Picatinny.
@Kornholeeoo3 ай бұрын
No. This was by far the worst part I’ve ever bought for any gun. It’s made from a sand mold that wasn’t even polished. Then powder coated making the tolerances worse. I tried many other mounts to go on it with limited success. I’ve bought pot metal parts on Amazon from China that were better than this. Get an EGW rail and compare the 2. Like a Bentley parked next to a parted out Yugo. The rail wouldn’t even sit flush on top of the gun! Had to sand it first and the screws would barely fit through the holes. Forget sanding out the groves, I had to sand it just to mount it on the gun. Don’t make excuses for junk parts.

I see real ads for legit products on there all the time. But...the ads have been stolen from the legit sites and put on fake scam sites and if you order something, you will most likely get a fake product, if you get anything at all. If you want to buy this system, get it off a legit site like Amazon or eBay where you have your purchases protected against scams. And yes there are many CarPlay systems on Amazon that look like this one. The ads on Fake Book say they are the authorized Carpuride site. I just cannot trust anything off that media platform, Fake Book. They may be legit, I'm not willing to test that and I highly encourage you against buying anything from Fake Book. Fake Book is obviously ok with many scam sites as there are thousands of them on there. You have no way of getting your money back if it's a scam. But the Carpuride system I bought off Amazon came from the Carpuride site and that is confirmed on the item when you click on the item. Mine came in 1 day and it was brand new sealed in the box and it works great. And it was at least $30 USD cheaper than the one advertised on Fake Book. Just beware of the scams on Fake Book.

I loosened the screws on each side of the bar that the cradle is attached to and was able to move it up a fraction. That almost did it. Then I loosened the 4 clamp screws on the cradle itself and only had to tilt the cradle up just a little bit and I could easily see the TFT gas gauge. Both adjustments were minuscule but it worked perfectly! And there was no glare on my trip. Very sunny in Charleston when I got there and the next day and there was no noticeable glare on the Carpuride screen.
