You may enjoy the 2024 'PS2 PURGE SERIES', as we look as games in our existing PS2 collection through quick reviews of the games in each episodes. If they turn out to be more than just fodder they survive, otherwise they will be purged from the PS2 collection.

The ‘Gentleman of Games Way’ to build a free collection:
Step 1: Hunt down games anywhere you can find them, remember to check them to make sure they are all in good condition.
Step 2: Where possible use the CEX App to ensure you get more cash than what you are about to pay, otherwise use your skills and gaming knowledge to find the bargains.
Step 3: Use the CEX App to find out what cash value our High street overloads will give you for all your recently hunted games in total. Make sure CEX will give you more (or at least) the same cash that you spent on your newly found games before you get to the store.
Step 4: Remember to set aside the games you want to keep and enjoy for your own free games collection. Ensuring that the cash return of the other games going to CEX will cover what you spent on the games you are keeping, and that's the key to making the collection FREE.
Step 5: Walk into your local CEX, be kind and polite, and exchange your games for cash. If your bundle is worth more cash than what you spent you decide if you want; more cash for future hunts, or a voucher to buy any specific games you want in your collection.
Step 6: Rinse and repeat forever and ever to build and enjoy a gaming collection to keep you and your loved ones constantly entertained and enjoying gaming for the rest of your days.

Best haul I've seen and you didn't have to be up a 5 in the cold, I had an independent pawn shop in my area where he done 3 for £2 and had a huge collection, eventually he stopped selling, ps2, xbox, ps3 and 360 was gutted but got some great stuff over a year or so.

Indeed you don't mate... but I'll still go at 5am just in case 🤣 yeah it's a shame to see places stopping doing games as less opportunities to find them, few charity shops near me have stopped accepting games and DVDs 🙄

Thanks for pointing out you don't use the app to check prices. You're right, you learn better from practice, trial and error etc. Plus, I've always thought there's something a little scummy about standing in a charity shop standing there scanning loads of games, DVD's etc

I never scan at carboots/charity shops, I honestly think I get more deals at carboots especially not using it... as soon as you see a pile of games can get in and out with what you want while others still scanning their first game. Thanks for watching again mate 🤘

Unbelievable that you found Birds of Steel and Top Gun for 0.99p each on the Xbox 360, there is almost £100 worth of games there. Incredible finds there mate, £100s worth of games there.

Nice one pal, smashed it this week. My Cash Converters do ebay prices near enough so hardly go in there. Never heard of some of these games so will have to keep an eye out, I've probably passed by a few of those 😂😂

Amazing pickups especially Xbox360, Cash converters get such a bad rep sometimes but I think they are actually quite good. Unfortunately though my local one doesn’t do much 99p games 😂😂

Yh all cash converters are different I live in west Midlands the 1 in walsall is fixed prices barely any deals the 1 in west brom u can get some good 99p deals. When I lived I'm Somerset the 1 I used too live by done some of the best deals I've ever seen most games wqs 99p

I agree I spent a good few months just going with my gut feeling when going through dvds and games at the car boot or charity shops. I had quite few losses but after a while it just clicked and started grabbing winners
