Episode 26: The Free Game Collections PS2 shelves are being purged of their filler. Games that are there just to fill out the shelves will be taken into CEX after being given a chance to prove themselves but didn't survive. As we get CEX credit for the purged games see what amazing killer game we add to the PS2 collection.

The ‘Gentleman of Games Way’ to build a free collection:
Step 1: Hunt down games anywhere you can find them, remember to check them to make sure they are all in good condition.
Step 2: Where possible use the CEX App to ensure you get more cash than what you are about to pay, otherwise use your skills and gaming knowledge to find the bargains.
Step 3: Use the CEX App to find out what cash value our High street overloads will give you for all your recently hunted games in total. Make sure CEX will give you more (or at least) the same cash that you spent on your newly found games before you get to the store.
Step 4: Remember to set aside the games you want to keep and enjoy for your own free games collection. Ensuring that the cash return of the other games going to CEX will cover what you spent on the games you are keeping, and that's the key to making the collection FREE.
Step 5: Walk into your local CEX, be kind and polite, and exchange your games for cash. If your bundle is worth more cash than what you spent you decide if you want; more cash for future hunts, or a voucher to buy any specific games you want in your collection.
Step 6: Rinse and repeat forever and ever to build and enjoy a gaming collection to keep you and your loved ones constantly entertained and enjoying gaming for the rest of your days.

I prefer this to the old purge series. But next time, I think you should remove the video filter once you get into the games. I want to admire the cover art for Gift in all it's "glory" 😂

Never heard of that game ben buddy, it looks quite fun though. I think you defo did the right thing getting shot of those other games to go towards it. I only try to buy games il play as i just aint got the room 😂

Great commentary over "all killer, no filler".. killer is highly subjective.. Killer to me is games i want to play.. not what cex tells me.. its expensive atm.. lol Filler is games i bought in charity/pawn shops because they were there and cheap.. and i might have a flittering desire to put them.. in my console.. I consider pc games like dawn of war.. Sim City 4.. heroes of might and magic.. as killer but theyre 99p games or less XD (even bought a retro XP gaming pc to play them XD)

Never played anything on a PC apart from championship manager back in the day. Glad you approve of my description of killer and filler, completely subjective to the person based on personal preference 🤘

That may well have been my copy of Gregory Horror Show. I traded it in a few months ago. Bought it brand new, played it twice, sat on a shelf for several decaades

I wondered what happened to The Purge. I was looking at Gregory's Horror Show a little while ago. I'm probably too late to the party now and I can't see myself parting ways with £75 for it though. By the time I got to it who knows what the price will be. Definite killer.
