Great Video, can’t stress enough, use magnet sockets and good extensions that stay locked, you don’t want sockets or screws falling in the dash.

I guess I just don't understand why I need the module for my 2021 f150 and not just the controller switch. When I go into the trailer settings now, it shows my brake controller settings amongst other trailer options. My truck just doesn't have the switch. Wouldn't adding the switch and just activating it work?

So we have found that that setting may be present but it does not nessisarly have the correct module and programming as these were covid built vehicles so they likely did not have the chipset. It will need the programmer and the Module. I just waited 4 hours at the stealership for them to install TBC in my 2024 F-150 stx. They couldn't get it to work and said they need to order a different part that has been on back order forever! Will yours work and can I return if it doesn't? Thanks!

Edit: I found they have a different module part number. RL3Z-19H332-A. Not sure what else is different though. Do you guys have a 2024 F150 kit? I noticed everything says up to 2023. I have a 24 F150. Does this all still work the same or did something change for 24?

Sometimes it flashes red when it does not read the VIN of the vehicle as the first step. Try once more, and when it flashes red, remove it, count to 10, and then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, please reach out to our support team for additional help!

This should be compatible. 17-22 is fairly easy to install. Just install the piece and run the programmer and you should be good to go.
