Idk what sig is doing over there. We took my buddy's 320 maxx to the range last night. It somehow lost zero and kept ketting more and more off. First it was hitting 2" low at 25 and totally out of up adjustment. The more we fired, the worse it got. We stopped when it was 6" low at 7 yds. For an optic they want 800 for, just uncalled for. This is the 3rd one he's had in a year. Probably only 1k rounds on it. It's cool they keep replacing it, but damn I'd rather have it just work and stay that way.

So I gotta disagree with this a bit... CZ is a really great and reputable company that is making a lot of durable and realible and accurate weapons ... the P10c is def a top 10 fighting or carry semi auto handgun ... would i take it over an M&P or PDP? No Over a Glock (yes to some variants no to others) But I would take it over everything else including HK and Beretta which be the next 2 on my tier ... And while Caniks may shoot fine, i would never trust my life to a Turkish gun .... realible and durable guns matter more than just pure shootability ... and last point, I do agree the grip texture on the CZ is not great, but easy fix... apply some grip tape and bam its all right

I was happy that my piston LWRC was in a solid B, I am a big piston gun fan myself and love my AUGs and Brens and B&Ts ... Definite props to SOLGW, they have been killing it and making great DI stuff... I think S&W should be at least C, they are at least trying with the newer sports and volunteers ... and I agree totally that old German/Swiss Sig is goated ... but new last 15 years american sig is some ass !

I think Harrel, Garand Thumb, and 9 Hole are the standout A tier guys Tfbtv and honest outlaw in the strong B tier Mac is kinda between C and B... he did great work with the gauntlet testing and i think some of his ice and mud testing inspired the amazing work Garand Thumb did years later... but he hasnt done much of late and needs to get back into testing ...

For those of you owning AR10/308 pattern rifles, if youve experienced any twisting of the AR10's charging handle/latch (Be them Aluminum aftermarket/OEM examples) due to heavier mass of BCG & stiffer recoil spring, an all steel charging handle for AR10's is made by 'Power-Customs' ($100 a piece) -Milled from a solid ingot of tool-steel. YES, its a bit heavier, but theres zero twisting going on. Ive bought two for my own AR10 pattern rifles. Solidly built.

AS a german, i was wandering if small brands like Schmeisser, Hera and Oberland Arms are available in the US? The do make AR15s as well, but i rarely see them discussed

Great video I was just fixing to cut another kydex holster but it wont hurt to try this first. I really like those cheap like wetsuit material holsters you get for like 15 bucks on amazon for comfort and the was they sit low, but like you said the draw and even more so the re-holster is so difficult. I was thinking about trying to glue some of that fabric to kydex already so this makes perfect sense to me. Thanks for the recommendation.

Some of the placements are very interesting. For example, HK would be higher on the list i I create. Also, I've had Aero upper and lower that never had a problem and has excellent precision. Probably a B or at least C tier for me.

I have the original apx and no issues with it. Shoots great. I have the apx a1 compact on order but didn’t get it for optics and if I do add later have no problem with getting plate for it.

My first handgun in 2010 when I knew nothing about guns, and I mean nothing I thought a 1911 was just an old gun, anyway, my first was a sig p250c 9mm . $400 private sale. I know that gun is often maligned but is really simple functionally being a DAO and the takedown and cleaning is simple. It got me into other guns because of how easy it was to use.

The shadow 2 compact is a great option.

I'm 50/50 on the no Da/sa. I get that it's a more involved manual of arms, but that hammer down condition i think could give a newbie more comfort with carrying 1 in the pipe and a little safer for re-holstering. And yes, definitely get something that's cool and fun to you. You're gonna shoot it and dry fire, practice manipulations way more if you like it.

Just put my first AR on layaway...bout half price...couldnt resist....its a LAR 15 RRA...read thet are great.

RRA has one of the best factory barrels out ther. I have a varminter with a 24" cryogenically treated, 24" match grade, hand lapped 223 wylde, 1:12 twist bull barrel. with my handloads it shoots sub 1/4 MOA, all day long. They also a sub 1/2MOA on some of there factory ARs with factory ammo. Who else on your list offers that? I have to give this video a big thumbs down!

I decided to try a pork-shoulder after not having a 45 grain TSX in 5.7 x 28 not expand into a clear ballistics block and proved to myself just how stingy those rubber blocks are with expansion or fracturing. That led me to then try a couple of lighter, faster, fracturing rounds and was pretty shocked to see the damage they do. Followed that with a 9mm Liberty Overwatch and again was pretty impressed. It made a believer out of me in fast & fracturing (pressure-wave, as Courtney & Courtney refer to it). It does seem to be reliant on velocity, though. Most recently I tried a 9mm Sinterfire and it was decent, but not much different than the HST I tried. But wouldn't call it a failure, either. I don't have any .300 BO (thanks NFA!) so I don't know if that notion translates to your bullets. But for the AR-10, AR-15, 9mm, 10mm and pretty much anything I consider for defense; I moved to light, fast & fracturing. The .308 with varmint loads were something else when I shot those into gel. Did you cut them open to see the damage? Would have liked to see that!! I had seen Buffman Range shot pork about a decade ago, but he sliced them length-way along the track, and it didn't seem to really show what I wanted to see (diameter of hole), so I did cross-section cuts sideways at ~3", 6", 9" to see the damage. There's a lot of info inside there to be learned...if you decide to do this sort of thing again, maybe give that a look and record how it looks? Figured I had to cut it up anyway to feed the dogs...so.... thanks for the info
