The PRS term system, which includes the nut which is a synthetic self lubricating material , and covers about 90% of what you would use one for, never get's enough credit and is the best term in the business IMO.

Yep, the SE pickups generally suck. I’m on my 4th or 5th SE and the only one that sounds good to me is the Swamp Ash Special. I tried the Paul’s Guitar, the SE 24 or whatever it’s called and finally the SE McCarty 594. It’s going back today. Sounds like muddy crap. It is a beautiful guitar and I got the single cutaway. I wanted to like that guitar so much but it’s not meant to be. Everything else about the SE’s are great. Seems like they upgraded the tuners.

Paul is one of the OG KZbin pioneers who I respect very much and have followed since the beginning. The reason he's still doing this is because he's so good at it. He has passion for all things guitar. Stay inspired, but being critical to others is not positive thinking. That's just my two cents that I have learned the hard way. Blessings to you, brother. ✌️
