I was just talking to my buddy about these cars and tracks and we we wanting to set up a track to get the grand kids and their friends a track set up for what we used to do.then 2 min. Later I stumbled across your video with the free track .I'm from Levittown pa but live in medford oregon now..I think what you are doing is awesome.

Did you use the layout recommended for the set? I bought the Victory 400 4 lane from Brian and am going to make it a 2 lane, because I rarely have 3 guests. Just discovered your channel and really like it. I did this as a kid but rediscovered it 50 years later. I subbed Mike

@@58MrMike thanks Mike, yes I used the layout from the set. It used all 62.5 feet so I did it. My next track will most likely be a 4 lane as I’m moving near my grandsons.

@@strat626970 hey Tony, the timing system is from Viasue which includes the software, light bridge and sensor track. You need to supply the computer and monitor.

I have not raced since the late 60s and early 70s, these have really come a long way. I am amazed at the speed and traction of the cars. This is the first time i have seen this since 1973, cool video and great house in the North Georgia Mountains.

May I ask about the use of both Inox and WD 40 ? I have a newer Carrerra layout that has been expanded . I’m noticing dead spots where the brushes aren’t connecting well . Before I use something new, I’d like to hear what others have used that worked . Thank you for any help offered .

@@markmed9091 hey Mark, so many things have been used to clean tracks. The HO track rails are much different than yours but plastic is plastic. I felt the armor all cleaner was just easier and safer than any petroleum products on the plastic. For the rails I use a super fine grit sanding block. For your dead spots you might try a light sanding with 1000+ grit sand paper. Check in with Slot Valley Racing and see if he has any input on your dead spots.
