He was allegedly taking a lot of medications and had a not very healthy lifestyle and did have a more depressive phase, mainly because of lack of commercial success not allowing him to have enough money to be as close to his son as he wanted (he would extensively talk about how hard it was to be a distant father). However, in interviews months or so before passing away, he seemed quite content and animated about the plans of going to go for a master's in music studies in Sweden and dedicating himself to classical music. I wish he could have reached that stage in his life. Rest in peace and thank you for everything, andre matos, wherever you are.

This girl is not lying. I will not say more or why or this or that but I will say that in 2014 Tolkki approached me after I left my band Seduce The Heaven. He wanted to „produce“ me. That’s all I‘m gonna say. Too many similarities. I believe her.

Great interview but man, the interviewer needs to calm the fuck down. You have to let your guest speak and not immediately react to everything he says. There were a number of times where Tolkki was going into interesting subjects and he was derailed. Incredibly annoying with all the interjections and distracting Timo from what he was saying. I REALLY wanted to hear what Timo had to say about Jeff Scott Soto and this guy goes off on Son's of Apollo and Mike Portnoy 🙄
