I know Hansi wants nothing to do those riots, but I thought Jon and Hansi are good friends, and Jon has yet to make an official statement. I certainly don't condone what Jon did, but now because of this, I'm worried about Iced Earth's future. Hopefully some time in the future, Jon will make amends and maybe Hansi will reconcile with him. Wishful thinking, but all we can do is wait.

Wow! Hansi has said he and Jon are amazing friends and like brothers. They have been touring and playing together for 15 plus years and he just abandons his "brother" when he is at his all time lowest moment! That's pathetic! People make mistakes and Jon is definitely suffering more than enough right now for his. He has been in jail now for weeks and the future looks horrible for him. Im not condoning what he did but Damn, What a way to kick a Friend while he's down! Sad, really freaking sad!

I agree but... Hansi has to put food on his family's table and the music industry is pretty fucked up, so non second chances anymore when it comes to links with terrorism. He has a commitment with the other members of Blind Guardian and they have been bullied nonstop since the news came out. It seems that money is more important than friendship. Jon is a grown up man and he was stupid enough to fight for a narcisist that threw him under the bus the next day.

So Jon was wise to put in danger peoples life and tried to kill someone by using a bear spray. Also Jon was very wise that by doing this he knew it would affect his career and bandmates. BUT NO! Hansi is the traitor here...Are you guys for real?

@@panosleivadaros5700 Not trying to say that at all, I never said Jon was wise here, in fact I don't agree with what he did, as I said in what I wrote. I think he made a mistake but that mistake shouldn't cost him his life/courier etc. And if Hansi was as good of a friend as he has said (and they both have claimed multiple times that they were super close friends) then he should of at least bowed out of Demon and Wizards with more integrity. The facts of what Jon did are not even known yet. The only thing anyone knows is that he was there and carrying bear spray (I could be wrong about that but that's what I have read). I believe they gave the same charges to everyone involved so far until they figure out who did what. Again Im Not defending Jon's Stupid Actions but if he were my friend I would have his back. Especially a Metal Brother!

Jon from now is a criminal and he should be judged for his mistakes. Hansi is not obligated to support a criminal and its his right not to. Actually he didn't even say that he is not supporting Jon as a friend. His decision only affects their stage name and their business. Hansi cant risk blind guardian for Jon's stupidity, because you know how the world cruelly reacts nowadays, so it was the only reasonable decision to protect his "business" name. But even if he doesn't want to be brother or friend with Jon anymore is totally acceptable. You cant support friends for actions that cost human lives.

@@carlosluismendez7392 Well, if Mein Kampf is still being sold, I think D&W would've found a label that's not elbow deep in politics. Wasn't Jon on his way to having his own label though..

He had to leave media was always pushing hansi to talk about this and he doesn't want his (original band to be involved also Blind guardian) and he needs to bring food to the table at home i mean what jon did is not right but he could've at least thought about his fans or his band mates at least instead of his political view but now its done what its done

@@thatone9462 Really.. that's a cop-out. I don't think Blind Guardian would've had any issues because Hansi released an album with some old fart in US once every 10 - 15 years. Ima tell you what happeed. It wasn't the media or shit like that. Sony (Century Media) threatened Hansi they would drop Blind Guardian just like they did with Iced Earth if he didn't quit Demons and Wizards. I doubt Nuclear Blast would've had any issues and a band like BG would've found an US label quite rapidly. But Hansi rolled over and barked when Sony said so. End of story.
