Breastroke is my favourite. I can comfortably do like 25m in about 21 seconds, without diving.

Great exercise. Only thing I would be cautious of using kettlebells is 1) make sure the kettbell has a flat bottom and use it on a flat hard surface (i.e. not on matts) since you don't want the kettlebell to roll over and snap your wrists. 2) start with lightweights and learning the double clean properly, because when standing up from the lower squat, you need to make sure your swing the kettlebells between your legs from a hinged position to avoid lower back injury.

@Afafafakhaapa21 сағат бұрын
You can do that with barbell also and backpack with weights to add more resistance for pushups, whole body in one ultimate movement, do BEAST MAKERS 😁. Thanks for video, nice as allways.

hello, I m 46. I was just passing by your video. I come from a very strong familly. You know natural mountain strengh, raised with organic food, mountain water and stuff. We are known in my village for having a super strengh. Anyways, we would naturally when I was a teenager (moved to France) brag about it and perform various stuff that would need strengh. When I grew up, since I was never interested in sports, I then started to enquire about natural strengh, which leads me to the following comment. Strengh doesnt come from muscles, nor nervous optimisation, it comes from tendons. Lemme explain a bit, if you want to be powerfull, as able to generate an unsual amount of power for your body weight ratio, you need large tendons. When you exercise at the gy, by doing localized overweight, you create fibers hypetrophia. It doesnt add more strengh (I mean just a very low pourcentage of gain) and goes away really quicly if you don t train. Your biceps for example can sustain way more power than it actually delivers. What stops you from using this power is sensors located inside the tendon that inhibitates the use of the muscle. Because what fails is not the fiber, it s the tendon that splits, and causes a muscle split injury. This saftey sytstem can be overcome with localized trainning but often tricks the brain and the sensor, leading to failure and never reaches the full muscle potential. So How to train tendons ? recent studies on the subject show 3 approaches. 1st and most important one is non repetitive use of the articulation. 2 asymetrical weight. 3 stationnary weight followed by extremely slow movements. In this setup, the facia muscles and the group muscles will not overload, but the tendons will. Creating new material. In a year, you can double the size of your tendons, multiplying by 300 to 500 (based on your genetic code) your ability to fully use the muscle. Peace.

As a semi-amateur regired boxer, jump rope is essential.better is to jump rope backwards. This may seem illogical or even difficult to execute at first but trust me, this will pay dividends in your journey towards your goal for a good physique. Jump backwards counting with a 2-3 min timer. (Retired semi-amateur boxer with over 975 fights and 35 years of experience)

Great explanation! 💪One additional point for your technique breakdown: at the top of the swing, it's also important to fully lock the knees by maximally contracting the quads. This works together with engaging the glutes and core to create a solid, stable position and maximize the efficiency of the movement.

Sets of 50 are a great burn. Tryna hit 100 in one set. Tyson push ups, weighted vest goblet squats and man makers will kick anyone of any fitness levels butt. Too easy? Cut rest and add reps for a ferocious full body workout.

I wanna know what you think about burpees on their own, or with a weighted vest? I used to do them a lot for wrestling, and now that I’ve been out of school for a bit, I wanna get back into them.
@moversodysseyКүн бұрын
They are a great exercise. You don't need anything else other than a small open floor space and some will power and they are great for conditioning. And because they are bodyweight its easier to use them for athletic gains. I know a lot of wrestlers I've worked with do burpees like a sprawl to get some sport specific training in with their conditioning. Burpess are excellent and so are man makers, just depends on what adaptations you're looking for. I felt bad bashing on burpees a little in this video, but I was goofing off a lot because this other version is called man makers and I wanted to have some fun with it.

can i instead traing strength and speed at the same time in good ratio instead of separating them, for example lifting heavy stuff fast. will this way be better or worse?
@moversodyssey2 күн бұрын
Depends on what your end goal is. Ballistic exercise is an excellent way to combine these two attributes, but it's not appropriate for every activity. For instance, I knew a 275lbs shot put state champion in highschool. Shot put and his training for shot put was all very ballistic. It made his very fast (4.9 sec. 40 yard dash at 6' and 275lbs in high school) and an explosive jumper (he could stand under a 10' basketball hoop and without running just jump up and grab the rim with both hands). All very impressive, however he was terrible at basketball because he had no agility. For that, plyometrics and separating strength and speed work is better. Hope that helps out.
