We had a smoke detector do this for 2 days, and our dog started hiding a lot, he wouldn't get out from under the bed, he wouldn't walk, wouldn't eat, we fully thought he was dying, we took him to the vet, they ran lab, checked his bum, etc. He was healthy, and acting great. We got home, started to settle and our little dude ran under a bed again. Our teenage daughter came out of her room and yelled "can nobody hear that beeping?!" We could kind of hear it, It was closer to her part of the house. I changed the batteries, and the dog came out from under the bed and was fine. When we're watching TV and he hears a beep, he panics. That smoke detector drove our poor dog crazy. Almost like he has ptsd from it. 😳
