Thanks John, awesome explanation I want to move a website from a share hosting provider gdaddy to AWS currently I'm paying $48usd per month for the service with a cPanel, etc... but the site is not a high traffic one we are having around 90k visit per moth, is a e-commerce website do you think with aws the cost will increase or do you recon will be a benefit for me to stay in terms of costs?

Start off on a smaller instance and increase if needed. Just remember you can always go up in size (with lightsail) and not down. So best to start small and increase as needed. Tha is for the comment. What is nice about AWS is the fact there is no middleman. Chances are, these other budget providers are using something like AWS, Google cloud or Azure anyhow. So why not go directly to the source?

Hello I have a problem, because After configuring the dns with the cname and the IP, when I put the domain in the browser I see the page but if I put the IP I also see the page. How do I make the IP redirect to the domain

This is expected. If you type in the IP Address, it is expected to see the site as this is the sites ultimate destination. As long as the domain correctly maps to the IP Address, you are fine. If you find the content helpful, please like and subscribe. Thanks for the comment.

This depends on the size of instance you use. Try a smaller (less expensive) instance first as you can always scale up (with lightsail) but you can't scale down. If you see performance issues or database connection issues, or a sluggish site, you can scale up to the next instance size to meet the needs of the site as well as the budget.

Are you using cpanel or Wordpress? In the settings section in Wordpress, you can specify the main email address.
