Do you understand the parable part of it yet Mat? This video game is a great big metaphor about...video games. Games give you the illusion of choice, but in reality you are trapped and confined by the story and mechanics developers have created for you. Stanley relishes the chance to do this even though in reality he is just pressing a few buttons. Given enough time, any game you play becomes more about seeing all that you can do and trying to break it then it does about any linear storyline laid out for you to follow. What does that say about video games and the people who play them?

To be fair, this game is all about the narration as opposed to actually "beating" the game.

I recommend starting with The Ultra Deluxe because it changes a previously softlocking bug into its own ending, and whilst I haven't heard of Lemon Demon singing the song in said ending, it sounds alot like Lemon Demon, so even in the event you don't look at any of the new content, the Ultra Deluxe is worth it for that alone.

I feel that you should continue this game. It's an amazing meta experience, and you've only tread onto the iceberg.

i think you should continue playing this game, and after you think you got enough endings then play the ultra deluxe version, and theres actually a difference if you played the old game before so you should play the new one

Man, this was my favorite SP playthrough I've seen in a while! You even got one of my favorite endings, the _"Am I real?"_ ending. I really hope you come back to this; there's so much extra stuff to be mind-blown by! I don't want to spoil anything.... BUT I will say, if you obey the narrator UNTIL the VERY end, then do _a little bit of trolling_ at the final option, the end result is very funny :) Also, the fern ending reeaalllly tugs at the heartstrings when you find it, you've got no clue what you're in for.

You got some of my favorite endings -- including the Broom Closet ending (with player two -- so many people never get that far) -- and in such an odd order! You poor thing; your first playthrough was very death-heavy! Glad to see you playing through the original Stanley Parable; I'd love to watch you play more of it if you ever feel like picking it up again: this game is especially fun to watch you play as it focuses so much on control (and authority?) and you've always seemed a bit... contrary? free-spirited? chaotic, in a fun way? At Mat: you started with the wrong version this one is the original and not the Ultra deluxe version, the Ultra deluxe version the old version of the game is still in the Ultra deluxe version, the ultra Deluxe added new ending compare to this old one, but the old story is still in the ultra deluxe version, the only thing change from the old story during the ultra deluxe version of the old story is the blue door ending, so the only advantage of going for the original first his to see the original Blue door idea. And the original video in the other old ending, because with the deluxe version they change the video just in-case kid play it.
