Using acrylic can reduce the strength and also take longer to cure, right? Why not use pigments meant for the medium?
@angelagordon3102Күн бұрын
This is happening with my premixed resin the bottoms are still partially wet and the tops are sticky ,I keep putting more time on the curing lamp but it is still giving issues.

For others, it’s proffered you pour the silicone in one place so the silicone can rise and push the air out, the thinner the stream of silicone the better , bubbles will pop as the pour, Edit: also pour it close to the bottom to help push the air up and out

@wildbluewings well in all the years working with almost all resin brands out there, it's the first time I've heard of the modpodge brand! The secret to any good quality brand of resin is the correct ratio, correct mixing, and curing time that's different for each brand and formula. If you have any left, try again 😉

I've heard that if you put a tiny bit of blue into these resins, it helps keep resin from yellowing. After I found JDiction resin, I haven't had this problem. Last year I did a test for my different resins, both UV and epoxy. Leaving them out in the sun all summer, only the cheaper resins yellowed. My JDiction ones are still doing great.
@EdnaWargonАй бұрын
@jaykb6587 well, one brand I used was cheap so I'm not surprised but the other wasn't and it still yellowed. 🤔
