There nothing more annoying when you make a resin piece and a year later it goes yellow! This happened to me, not fun! But, I'm going to fix it in this studio vlog | Daily life in my art studio

Even though it was yellowing, I still found it beautiful. ❤ Sad that you had to cover it up, but the new surface is pretty too. ❤ The added tea light, coasters, and tray are gorgeous! ❤❤❤ Everything is gorgeous.

Thanks, i was really sad to cover it up but the yellow ting was so ugly compared to the other trays that were bright white. I took a risk but honestly im glad i did. Happy you liked it too 🙂

I've heard that if you put a tiny bit of blue into these resins, it helps keep resin from yellowing. After I found JDiction resin, I haven't had this problem. Last year I did a test for my different resins, both UV and epoxy. Leaving them out in the sun all summer, only the cheaper resins yellowed. My JDiction ones are still doing great.

@jaykb6587 well, one brand I used was cheap so I'm not surprised but the other wasn't and it still yellowed. 🤔

I guess ive been lucky, i have so few that have yellowed, it depends on which resin i used. Hopefully no more will turn yellow 🤞🙂

Okay so can I ask you a question please. Everyone gives so many different opinions on KZbin about stirring resin. I hear people say that you must hear it slow and in One direction only. But other people stir it like you and kind of go in both directions how are you supposed to stir resin can you tell me

Hi Cathy, in the last 3 vlogs I've bored everyone showing the best way to stir resin. Its a fine line between stirring enough so its mixed properly and whipping it like cream which will produce too many bubbles. But there isnt only one way to stir properly, I find if i stir too slowly its not mixed enough. But do watch my previous vlogs, i do my best to show you, of course its my way of stirring but it works for me 🙂
