What I did was put a giant mushroom on some scaffolding

Bro ashlands are soo hard. But so much fun. I love this game. Every biome is fresh and new and not just a harder older biome

Have you made a covered dock? I think that's a fun challenge, but I don't know if it's feasible with the new boat. It would use a ridiculous amount of iron. Also, making a dock that is shaped to the boat at water level allows you walk up the boat and access the storage without entering the boat, making it possible to take all and walking all that ore into your house in one trip.

This is still my favorite goto build.

The easiest dish to make is the cucumber dish. Farm cucumber when you first get it only farm cucumber and upgrade the meal.soon you will have 1k per dish and yeah no worries about doing anything to get ingredients..my tip.yes his food is good but you have to have 3 different fish and some other stuff..it's just cucumber and rice baby..❤loved the video.respect

Man it would be nice if they would just let us swim and build under water. Actual max use of the swim skill. All I've even used the swim skill for is picking up serpent meat and swimming to the stairs when I fall off the dock.

I want to build this base but I don’t have access to to tar, so I don’t have the cool looking wood and the shingle roof. But I am still wondering if I just make it out of stone, normal wood, and thatch roof.

I wish that Valheim had steam achievements. A lot of the games i play, i'm OBSESSED with collecting achievements, tough some i refuse to do, like terrarias fishing 💀 fuck no. But a achievement for helping the dwarf retrieve their stuff? Fuck yea i'd want that

Also pro tip. Put signs up with portal names so you can just switch them instead of having 20 have 4. Plus an emergency one incase you forget to switch one.

i hope after deep north they add more to the oceans and allow us to dive under water and use our tools down there. that would make building in the water SO MUCH easier. at least on pc you can get the mod that lets you make the boots of sinking but on console or vanilla youre SOL.

one of the needs for a dock is figuring out some way to get all that ore out of it. I make the dock low enough to the water that I can stand on the dock and access the storage, take all the ore out and have enough stamina food to walk overburdened to my ore room

It's a cute structure for the first biome or two, but quite limited storage capacity for the long-term.

We saved ourselves the headache on the second playthrough and got a mod that pulls from nearby chests when you're crafting. Once you use it you wonder why it isn't a feature in the base game.
