I normally dont comment but I am just catching up because I was not able to watch a lot of videos in the last year and so I am now watching them. It was soooo relatable and heartwarming to hear you talk about how you are with God and what you know you wanna change and how it impacts you, and at least for me I can totally relate. I guess it is often a misconception that it is easy to follow God wholeheartedly, not because we dont want to but because the distraction from the world is not just a bit and we really have to be kinda "strict" in some sense with ourselves to not let ourselves wander off. Nevertheless God is so gracious and faithful, we always can and should come back and he is always there with open arms if we are being serious. So stay strong and follow Jesus, and also be gracious if its hard sometimes. Just come back to him as soon as you recognize. And I am telling that myself aswell! Bless you! And thank you for talking so honest, I really felt you talking from your heart and it really touched me!

i definetly know what you are talking about. I had the same feeling when i was pregnant with my boy at first. It is not that i was not happy to have him, it is about saying goodbye to the little girl we will never have. And its ok. But every kid comes to us to teach us something. Whatever it may be.

I love that you show all you do with your babies. A lot cook, exercise, and put on makeup during most of their videos. So, I thank you.

I'm the youngest of 8 siblings. There's a 10-year gap between me and the next to youngest. My mom had 7, like rabbits.

I just wanted to say I totally understand your feelings of wanting a girl to, for lack of a better word, re-create that closeness in your life that you're missing between a mother and daughter. My mom died when I was 14 and I only have boy children (2) so I totally get it. You're not the only one who feels this way, and thank you for sharing your experience!

Aw Maddie don’t be sad. Just remember that God chose you to be a boy mom for a reason. Perhaps you are to be a pivotal role in how they will perceive the world as they grow, and that they will choose the best partners. Because they had a woman like you as their mom. Mother-daughter relationships can often be super tricky to navigate. I would say you are blessed. But I’m sure you know that 😊

Hello. I'm 11 weeks today with baby #2. Due April 12 2025. With my 1st pregnancy I couldn't take prenatals at all. They Made me very sick and of course back in the day they didn't have different prenatals over the counter like the gummies. So I had to take Flintstone vitamins, folic acid vitamin and a B6 vitamin. Now with baby #2 I can take regular prenatal vitamins but have to be low on iron because the iron will make me sick. No vomiting for me so far but I feel nauseated off and on.

My heart goes out to you. I know what you’re saying about wanting a girl and why. You’re allowed to feel what you do. Who knows, maybe one of your boys will marry a girl who doesnt have a mom in her life and she will turn to you for those moments. I've dealt with gender disappointment too. I always imagined myself as a boy mom (after I got over the fantasy that I would have 7 kids, alternating boy, girl, and at least one set of twins 🤣). We had 3 girls and then were told that we shouldn't have any more due to me getting extremely sick the last time and not knowing if I'd make it. People say "you can adopt" or "maybe you'll have a grandson"...but neither of those situations is the same as having my own little boy. I am definitely so blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy, sweet girls, but I will always morn what never was to some extent. So you are not alone in feeling this way. I just have to remind myself that God is in control and knows what is best for us better than we do. 🥰 P.S. Growing up my mom had a friend who was only having girls, finally had baby boy at #11 😅

I know how you feel Maddie I’m a mom of 3 boys ! Mamas w pigeon pairs will never get it ! It’s the experience !!!! Enjoying w my boys now and what I can offer and I always think perhaps GOd gave me this task to bring up 3 boys to be better men because out there on earth the majority are horrible!!! That’s our mission! My sister has 2 and she stopped there she couldn’t bear to have a third has gender disappointment hit hard! Your feelings are valid

I'm a one and done and have baby girl, however I've been following you since you had Hudson and when I found out you were having Lincoln the first thought in my head was "Oh my gosh those boys are going to be there for each other for the rest of their lives, what an amazing bond to have with that many brothers." I understand the ache of not being able to experience the other side of the coin, but I know you find much peace knowing that your boys will be the strongest pack of brothers forever.
