Sounds like a nightmare. Im an ex alcoholic that used to do stuff like that. I totally quit drinking around 7 years ago. Some people can drink and some cant. I thought i could but it ruined my life. My little brother died 3 years ago due to alcoholic lifestyle. I dont want to even be near it. Im glad no one was hurt and u handled that situation perfectly. Drunk people are stupid and the sober guy has to be the brains of the whole situation.

Something kind of similar happened to me when I was a kid, this would have been in the mid 1970’s. We were at the Cove Palisades state park in Oregon. We were tent camping, it was me at probably about 10 and my mom and dad. We went to bed probably at 10pm and there was a large group of young adults playing loud music and drinking next to us, I’m guessing probably 10 individuals. They started throwing watermelon rinds at our car, boat and tent. Then they started coming in our campsite and came around the back of our tent and started peeing on it. We got up, went outside and my mom took the car and drove to the head rangers house which is like 1/2 mile away. Within 30 minutes there were probably 8-10 state and county police cars there. They ended up taking several people to jail, cited multiple others and made them poor our all their remaining alcohol on the ground. The ones that were left, were made to leave immediately. They weren’t allowed to pack up anything, they just had to get in their cars and go.

Not usual, but a valid reason I feel safer staying inside my jeep!
