Great vlog guys! I have never wanted to go to Venice, but you sold it! One day I will get there! I tasted Aperol Spritz when I went to Italy for my first & only time back in 2018, but now I need to go again because I can't remember what it tasted like. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! 😂😂 PS. I missed seeing Atlas x
@vernonandmaryana6 сағат бұрын
Venice is definitely one of the most unique cities in Italy. There are so many little hidden treasures throughout the narrow streets here. Not all aperol spritz will taste the same, it really depends on the type of Prosecco they’re using. No worries, more atlas coming soon 😄
@andyvivi38998 сағат бұрын
Next time try the Select Spritz, it is typical of Venice and can only be found here.

such a nice video, but I want to make some minor corrections and adds for the viewers. You had wine in the market but also you shown a lot of stalls with "MUST" referring to it as wine. "must" = freshly squeezed grape juice which is good for a few days only prior to the fermentation stage. "Gogosica" - little donut "Obor Market" is not for tourists. Not destined for tourists to be more specific, but tourists are welcome. Bucharest is also called the little Paris. Pork cracklings are very different from American cracklings. You had them cold but those are also often used hot/warm in the same pan with eggs(scrambled or sunny side up). Cabbage rolls... great choice. Not paprika but pepper mostly. Might have been paprika but normally it's pepper. Disclaimer: personal thoughts as a local.

Usually not that cold, light to medium jacket at most. Sometimes the strong winds can come in. Doesn’t drop below 0 Celsius in Fahrenheit usually around 40-45, plus humid.

We absolutely love Sacile and Polcenigo! We often end up at the same coffee shop for cakes in Polcenigo. Too bad your date nights are Wednesday since right next to the coffee shop is a cozy little bar called La Taverna Slow Shop and Bar. It's only opened on the weekends. I'm curious what brought you two to Italy if you don't mind me asking. What do you do here?
@vernonandmaryana3 күн бұрын
We haven’t been to that one yet. We’re in Sacile center often so we’ll stop by there soon. We also love going to the antique market there and of the month. We’re here on work visas ( computer stuff) again. Loved Italy the first time few years ago and wanted to come back.

The battle of the oranges is the symbol of the Carnival of Ivrea, which always keeps alive the memory of the struggles that citizens have carried out over the centuries to not succumb to the abuses of tyrants. The tradition of throwing oranges from the balconies onto the carts and vice versa is said to have originated in the Middle Ages, when feudal lords gave a basket of beans to the people once a year. This ridiculous alms, over time, led various families to scornfully throw the beans out of the window.

Nessuno sta pretendendo nulla. Penso che tu abbia una visione negativa degli americani e cerchi problemi di cui lamentarti. L'intero scopo di questo video è informare le persone, educarle se non sono mai state in un altro paese o in Italia.

Hi! I'm from Padova and i'm really thankful that you shared the secrets of my city. It's a really nice place to be, in the center of Veneto, really near Venice, Verona and the Alps, with a lot of history and sites to visit! Too bad you didn't get the chance to visit Scrovegni chapel, is astonishing, but better to book before on the site, because they let only 10 people inside every 15 minutes, so it easily gets full, especially on weekends.The eremitani museum nearby is also really interesting! The place under Palazzo della Ragione it's called il Salone, as you correctly guessed it's an old marketplace where they sell many good: meat, fish, and much more! The busiest day is saturday, when in all the three main squares ( piazza delle erbe, dei frutti and dei signori) many things are selled, from clothes to fruits and vegetables. I think you came on sunday, when unlucky everything is closed.
