Would you visit this awesome city? There is so much to do in the city and in the Veneto region.

The architectural style you think is French, it's actually Italian baroque. An even bigger example is Turin that is very similar to Paris.

Love Padova. That's where I studied. Also check Vicenza, Bassano and Asolo. Veneto is full of undiscovered (and underrated) gems.

Hello ,new subscriber here.I'm actually from Padova,and although I think it has a more than decent cultural offer,it's often overlooked (expect by people that exploit it as a base to go to Venice since it's just 20 min by train) so thank you for showing other sides of Italy...😀.The main university building you visited ,Palazzo Bo',it is the administrative building(where the chancellor reside) and also the one which hosts the Faculty of Law.Other places which are notable ,in case you will want to explore the area again in the future ,are the Musme(museum of medicine,Padova it's still known today for the Faculty) and Villa Giusti(the villa itself it's nothing remarkable but it's the place where the armistice of the first World War was signed,and there is really interesting stuff and memorabilia inside).I you plan to visit other area of northern Italy ,and you like relatively unbeaten town I suggest you Parma,Ravenna and Bergamo(that's a gem),and of course Turin and Bologna but those are big and relatively famous

Everybody is forgetting Mantua!
@dario96798 ай бұрын
@@edgardobassi4864 that's true actually....😂.Maybe because it's less connected logistically , like Cremona if you are interested in music, but the things to see and the food are top notch. You could as well combined Mantua with the Sigurtà park.

Hi! I'm from Padova and i'm really thankful that you shared the secrets of my city. It's a really nice place to be, in the center of Veneto, really near Venice, Verona and the Alps, with a lot of history and sites to visit! Too bad you didn't get the chance to visit Scrovegni chapel, is astonishing, but better to book before on the site, because they let only 10 people inside every 15 minutes, so it easily gets full, especially on weekends.The eremitani museum nearby is also really interesting! The place under Palazzo della Ragione it's called il Salone, as you correctly guessed it's an old marketplace where they sell many good: meat, fish, and much more! The busiest day is saturday, when in all the three main squares ( piazza delle erbe, dei frutti and dei signori) many things are selled, from clothes to fruits and vegetables. I think you came on sunday, when unlucky everything is closed.
