Thank you, Jean-Baptiste, I really enjoyed listening to your rendition of this wonderful Bach masterpiece. You have a lovely 'organic' way of playing the organ, and it reminds me of the wonderful 'organic' style of Jean Sibelius' music. Please can you bring more of the classic organ repertoire to KZbin for us? Bach wanted his works to be 'to the glory of God', and surely his prayers were answered!

The version is wonderful, and also the playing! However, I wonder why this organ was selected for the recording, considering the work it needed. I think it would be quite easier - and cheaper - to choose another organ in good shape instead of spending the money in an organ that will be replaced.

etheral really liked the contrasting organ voice and the ravel like dissonance. Makes me curious to hear later pieces by this composer. A tribute to the might of a pipe organ. Must have been incredible to hear in that cathedral.

Thank you so very much! My sister was an organist and I can vividly remember her playing this piece as I listened to her practice. Unfortunately, she lost her life to cancer at the age of 22.
