...my favourite of the three chorales. The juxtaposition of power, energy and sublimeness make this one of Frank's best works. So perfect on a mechanical action with Barker lever assist and ventils. Sad that the St Clotilde instrument was electrified.

A supremely lovely and beautifully-played performance! MAIS - s'il vous plaît! - don't switch the camera angle as frequently as was done here! Please give us viewers TIME to enjoy and take in each camera-angle perspective before switching to the next! The constant changing-up of the camera is distracting! MANY THANKS, however, for including views of the St-Sernin Organ's buffet, or front case-work - seeing it adds greatly to the experience of watching Jean-Baptiste Dupont create this music, and gives listeners who are not familiar with this wonderful organ an idea of what it truly is - a monumental work of VISUAL as well as MUSICAL art.

My final comment on your recordings (unless I 'HAVE' to comment). Magnificent! S Sernin may lack the 'gravitas' of C-C's northern-French instruments, but it makes up for it in pure 'fire'. Thank you once again for all your uploads :-)

Effectivement, la Basilique Saint Sernin de Toulouse à été construite AVANT les Cathédrales du Nord de la France. Le style architectural du monument rentre en compte pour l'acoustique musicale. La Basilique Saint Sernin de Toulouse est le plus grand édifice religieux de style roman en Europe, alors que les Cathédrales sont de style gothique. Je suis Français, habitant Toulouse, j'ai pu assister à la nuit de l'orgue, dans le cadre du festival Toulouse les Orgues 26ème édition, au mois d'Octobre 2021 ☺🇨🇵

C'est le plus joué mais c'est vrai qu'il a de l'allure, belle interprétation et ces "respirations"pour suivre la lignes mélodique et ornementations sur un orgue dont l'on ne cesse de vanter ses qualités et de ceux qui le font chanter...Merci Monsieur Dupont
