Because Firefighters live in the "real world", they do no connect on a b.s. level with people. Real trauma everyday. Nurses and teachers deal with reality.

Its because all have unique schedules. Nurses work all different hours, teachers have whole summers off, hairdressers are also commong because of schedule. This makes it easier to date, see each other and eventually deal with kids and scheduling.

My wife dated a firefighter before she married me. She is a Nurse. All the hot young nurses work in the Emer Dept- all the hot young firefighters come into the ER on Medic calls. After they get the patient all squared away… they all hit on each other. Then my wife got smart and married a pilot.

I noticed that too. They're into nurses and teachers. Nurses mainly cause they see each other at the hospital a lot. I dated a fireman and I'm an investment advisor.
