Great guide Sir and I can confirm this is an absolute pig of a job on a DS3 (same parts/process) as today I am about to try and revisit it after spending yesterday on it too! Arsey is the correct term!!c Well done on pointing out the rubber bung thingy that has the screwdriver stuck in it to locate it in the correct position in the turret, I got this wrong (put it in the other hole) and when I drove it it make a clunk over bumps, gutted as now I have to take the strut out again to align it properly☹

Like the Britool set, looks like they've seen a job or two. 😉 Good investment. Using flange drive sockets will help preventing rounding off the nut when tight. If you are very careful you can also gingerly use a strap wrench near the top of the filter housing where it's stronger together with the socket when trying to prevent rounding that plastic nut, just to help it a bit due to the better leverage. It's a three handed job though. 😉 I drain the sump first, hoping to get more out of the filter housing and loosen the filler cap. I have the same car/engine/ year and need to do this next. After watching, I now know how to remove the plastic piping. Thanks a lot for that. I will watch more of your stuff specific to this car. Oh, and one more thing related to the C3 picasso. Do you get any clunking from the rear axle going over bad road surfaces? I have done the shocks and checked for play everywhere. Even my mechanics couldn't find any faults. This is only a 20,000 mile car with new rear wheel bearings as well. Boot emptied of everything including spare. Its coming from the axle somewhere.

I'm currently experiencing intermittent overboost P0234 on my 207 1.6 HDi 16v, only comes on under load and turbo flutter accompanies this too. Should I start with the vaccum solenoid before looking at the actuator? Also I've recently had a new injector and had the DPF cleaned, but code still comes up. Doubt these would be related in any way though.

Legend, saved me so much time. Got the screws off but couldnt get the rest off until i watched this video. Its worth noting though that i bought a repair kit from Halfords and the bulb wasnt keyed, it went in both ways. Easy way to realise is my light was dimmer, swapped it round and its good.

absolutely brilliant video, been having problems for a few weeks now ,had it in my friends garage who is supposed to be fully trained on Peugeot's but older one's as he is now 68yrs old so don't think he knows what he's doing even though he has a snapon diagnostic system, will probably have to end up doing it myself but problem has arrived in the middle of winter and the pressure sensor which came up as a fault is mounted on the back side of the engine for which you have to access from under the vehicle so unless I take it in to get it on hoist I need to jack it up on axle stands to gain access, this sensor will be the first one I look at and it's possible it just want's cleaning with electrical cleaner then if fault still persists will check the actuator as you describe. could you recommend a portable diagnostics unit

Changed my sparkplugs today! And also changed the oil and filter and topped up the transmission oil a few days ago. I always go back to this and the other videos for reference. It's a great resource. Due to the cramped engine bay and the plugs being on the back it's doing everything by feel more than sight, so having your video really helps build an image of what the "feel" looks like :) Car running beautifully again now. It seems to have picked up power in the lower rpms. Before the new plugs opening the throttle fully should only be done well above 2000 rotations (especially since the last three months or so) or else she hesitates. Now she's fine no matter the conditions. Plugs looked fine. They were BERU 14KR-STUX (R6) with three electrodes, two of which had white carbon build up and one of the electrodes was black. There's some black dry residue on the threads, unsure what that is. And this was the case for all four cylinders. I replaced them with Bosch Super 4's and applied copper grease :) Many thanks for the videos! Pim

I did it in 2.5 hours both sides. As you mentioned the ball joint was the most hard part but what took me a lot of time to remove is the left screw go below the cv axle and can't be pull up because of the cv axle and at your video you just hit it from below and it just pop up with no interfere of the cv axle

How do you change the rear brake pads? I am stuck on this because I removed both nuts and it looks like one whole brake caliper unit. It doesn't look like it's the same process/step. Please help!!!

French owner of a C3 II 1.2 gasoline version, MY 2014, Citroen states on the user manual that the gearbox oil doesnt need to ever be changed but given your eye-opeining tutorial, i believe thats another of their marketing lies. Great explanations and step by step on how to do it. I'm seriously considering changing mine given we hit the 10 year anniversary of the vehicle. im sure the oil is mine might be even darker than yours!
