So different to the VWs and Audis of old , so well worth a watch before trying it myself. Many thanks.

Haha, cars of old in general, a more basic beast to deal with. The joy of KZbin is you can at least see someone carrying out the task before you have an attempt yourself 😎 I remember as an 18 year old, sat with a Haynes Manual reading about how to carry out a job on my Metro 😂 much easier with a video 👍

Interesting this cartridge setup, first time seeing something like that instead of the metal oil filter.

What's your thoughts on replacing the sump plug? I've read in various places that you should replace it. On top of that, where can I buy a new sump plug, and how can I be sure which size of sump plug will fit my car a 2015 2.0 TDi All Black 4x4?

@@mfree9202 I wouldn’t replace a sump plug unless it had obvious signs of damage. You are supposed to replace the copper/aluminium crush washer every time you remove the plug 👍 If you are going to replace the sump plug, i would recommend the main dealer (vw). This way you are guaranteed the correct part with the correct thread size/ pitch. Probably more expensive than an eBay part, but cheaper in the long run 😉 Hope this helps! Sandy.
