This is how i renewed the air filter on my son's girlfriend's 2012 Skoda Yeti. It's got the 2.0 tdi engine fitted.

I change it two weeks ago, and now i realised i dont have that plastic tray under the filter 😂😂 so i ordered it now

Excellent, watching the video helped 😎 Such an easy job to change the filter yourself and it’s done properly. Most garages just whip out the old filter and pop in the new one, without cleaning out any debris 👍

Thanks for posting this, recently bought a Yeti myself. What do you think about the build quality of the car and what things do you recommend to look out for that might need replacements/repairs?

@@stefanrh1160 Hello and welcome. The Yeti in the video is my sons girlfriends car and she loves it. When i’ve driven it, it has a nice firm ride and appears to be robust. It has the 2.0 tdi engine fitted and you just need to keep up with the servicing. If the cambelt is due, i would recommend getting that replaced, but generally i think they are good cars. I don’t know if you’re aware but i’ve got a Yeti Playlist on my channel if you wanted to check out other jobs on a service 😉 Sandy.

I’ve got yeti with 1.8tsi 2014. All services done at Skoda. It’s a really reliable car.
