Why does it bother me that the second E is not facing backwards? Was this done to avoid copyright issues?

@@koreankorean5645 it might be the format the video is recorded with. If you've recorded with a newer phone it often uses hevc for better file compression. Some phones allow you to turn it off. I've just used ffmpeg to convert it

Thank you so much for the in depth review. This is exactly what I needed to help make my decision. I think I’m going to go with the mini for the versatility and ease of use. I also edit sound in post so I am happy with the sound quality you shared by using it on a busy street or windy location.

this video reached the wrong audience LMFAO As an audio engineer, this is ridiculous. You went wrong with everything except the low cut All the information is in the mids REGARDLESS of your voice, even the highest tonals don't go that high. You reduced the noise and then boosted 15khz+ which basically reversed that. This goes horribly through 99% of audio systems.

@adesholaogunleye929214 күн бұрын
I feel you, but like he said, every voice is unique. the final output is good and that's what matters. it's important to play with frequencies till you figure out what enhances your vocals without distorting or sounding straight bad. there are some rule of thumb, yes, but eqing is a highly stylised artform.
@ajwadakter732614 күн бұрын
@@adesholaogunleye9292 no one's denying that, but his voice still doesn't sound right with the eq. He might like it for now but once he actually uses good monitoring he'll end up realizing how wrong he is.

As an audio engineer, does it matter if it sounds good? Why do you think the only right way to do it is your way?
@ajwadakter732614 күн бұрын
@@cookieartzz2902 there's is no right way of eq ing, all that matters is if it sounds right, and the voiceover does NOT sound right or proper, it's boomy and sibilant.
@kaitsu960814 күн бұрын
Human hearing is strongest at about 1-4khz range. so dipping the midrange is not a good idea really.. rather you could boost 1, 2 and 4 khz areas with bell filters, cutting rather than adding from 8-10k ish with high shelf for less "sss" sibilances. Eq in the video is very "car stereoy", also called smile curve but the magic is in the midrange
