I was so excited to see a high percentage of Urea in the Stratia toner - truly unique and innovative! I knew you would be all over it and was waiting for your take (:

The urea was a pleasant surprise, but honestly, Stratia always does an amazing job, I shouldn't be surprised!

I love that you gave the reedles another chance because I've been loving it with the isntree one but everybody else is saying how dangerous it is with unknown risks / irritation. If you follow the instructions and stop other actives and slowly introduce you'll find the results to be really good and no issues. Like always with actives you need to be careful about overdoing it.
@KellyDriscollАй бұрын
Yeah there is a lot of conflicting info about the spicules and the reality is it's a novel ingredient without much data, it will get folks speculating in the absence of that data. The spicules are so small the hypothesized risk is very low but that's hard to communicate in an easy-to-understand manner. I think there are more risks for irritation because like you said there can be a delicate balance to introducing this type of product and it will not suit everyone, but that kind of nuanced stance doesn't seem to go viral.

Yay! I was wanting to purchase the Aqua Factory. I was waiting to hear what you have to say about it. I was hoping for a watery toner, but it seems more like Cosrx Cica Fit toner. But I still want to try it bc I would really like to see how my skin responds to a urea focused product. Thank you for all your informative videos. Super helpful! 🧡

The new Stratia toner sounds very similar to the Sukoyaka Suhada urea toner. For those of us, who have to pay high shipping for Stratia , I think it is a good alternative.

Ohhhh the Stratia toner..! I would be all over that if not for the high shipping cost to where I am. Oh well... I do love to see more brands using urea.

Same! Stratia seems a wonderful brand, but the shipping costs to Europe are high... Maybe one day they sell at a retailer like Iherb

Hi Kelly. How does the Stratia toner compare to Geek & Gorgeous' Liquid Hydration if you have used it. Learned not in October but in past few months through my therapist to jot down at end of day 3 things that brought you happiness. It really has helped my mindset when I'm feeling down and really helps you find also gratitude in your life.
@KellyDriscollАй бұрын
I have tried liquid hydration! If I remember it correctly it's very hydrating but a touch thin in texture whereas Stratia has just a little more slip and plumpness that makes it feel like it lasts just a little longer on the skin. They are both very good and what I'm remembering is a super tiny difference, tbh! Oh, that's a great habit to get into! I don't think our brains aren't hardwired to default to gratitude but when you spend a moment to practice it, it makes a huge difference!

Hey, Kelly!! I never thought I would comment about horror movies here but I have to say Audition and Dario Argento's Opera have traumatized my eyes for life..lol!! This is coming from someone who grew up on horror movies and has pretty much seen it all. On to skincare now, I am especially looking forward to Stratia Aqua Factory.They are such a great brand. And oh my goodness, these last few election cycles are killing me. I do know that whatever happens I will have to accept it and hope for the best and also try to be a part of that "best". Thank you for all you do and know that you bring joy to a lot of us in these trying and exhausting times. Love you ,girl!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi Kelly I was on the hunt for a more affordable rich cream. The two I have loved over the past couple of years are Paula’s choice ultra rich or the Kate Somerville Delikate. Now I can’t say this new favourite can really replace either of those but it’s really nice and a lot kinder on my wallet 😂. The Zeroid oint cream is the new favourite. I have really specific needs from my moisturiser for daytime and few moisturisers are rich enough without being too greasy to sit under spf. The Zeroid on me isn’t greasy and plays well under spf and makeup yet still keeps my skin soft all day. It doesn’t have all the benefits re ingredients of my two top favourites, but I do layer skincare under all of them and I am getting benefits from all the products underneath re beneficial ingredients. I just need my moisturiser to seal everything in and provide lipids etc. At night it’s much easier to find really rich balmy and often greasier creams to seal everything in and I am absolutely fine using body creams or balm for that purpose. Best wishes x

Girl I layer my toners and layer several 😂 I love my toners and essence step(S). I need to repurchase my Make Prem it's almost gone but I'm gonna try the Stratia too. I recently got the Amorapacific green tea essence I tried a sample awhile ago and absolutely loved it but it seems different to me now and I think I might like the 14$ Kaine Kombu better I also go the green tea ampoule and mist in a set and I really like them too. I haven't tried much new but my recent SPF fav is The Lab oligo HA essence SPF 50 PA ++++ The Allies of skin Advanced peptides and antioxidants treatment , GG peptides serum , Klairs midnight cream , Eadam lip balm in burnt Malia, PC aha liquid , skinfix new gel face wash , i really like that. I actually have that PDRN in my cart but wasn't sure about it . Happy Halloween 👻🎃

Question: do the “reedles” stay on your skin or dissolve? What happens to them? Just curious..
@simplytitanium7919Ай бұрын
they fall out when your skin sheds in about 1-3 days depending on your age.

@@simplytitanium7919 really?
@KbeautywithmamamajaАй бұрын
You feel that they wash off the next morning.
@KellyDriscollАй бұрын
I think it's important to remember that Reedles don't actually go very deep into the skin. While they can open pathways for other skincare to absorb better, it's not getting deep into the dermis (inner layer of skin) but influencing the superficial epidermis (top layer of skin). A regular microneedle will be about 0.5mm to 1mm in length and a reedle is 0.015mm in length. Hope that helps!

Kelly! I’ve searched everywhere for a video of you reviewing the Tia’m line. I found a couple including the b5 toner but, not a review of the line. I’m considering their snail cleanser, moisturizer and sleeping mask, but, I need my girls review before i buy anything for this sensitive skin! 😘
@skinminimalistАй бұрын
Do you think you could get the benefits from the PDRN essence without the help of the reedles to get it deep enough? Thanks
@KellyDriscollАй бұрын
Yes, so far, the essence is working like the reedle shot version, but slower, I'll admit. You won't get the next day glow, but you'll notice improvement in a few weeks.

Swanicoco’s PDRN is the best, and also have the highest concentration of PDRN 😊 The big problem with some reedle shots is that they are made with cellulose sponge, and there are not that many studies on that. I wouldn’t use because there are no proven studies that the human body can break down the cellulose sponge…… just like if you get a splinter in your arm the body is not able to break it down, so the body will form scar tissue around it to protect the body….
@KellyDriscollАй бұрын
Yeah not everyone is comfortable with the reedles and that's ok, it's novel and there isn't much in the way of proving or disproving that hypothesis.
@liviusssАй бұрын
Is this Swanicoco PDRN without spicules?
@kennethAmos8929Ай бұрын
@ yes there are NO needles in the swanicoco - always look at the ingredients list ( hydrolyzed sponge - if there are needles in it )

Yessss, this is so true. Non, on the rare occasion I came across a toner, serum, or ampoule it was filled with harsh chemicals. However, I do use the moisturizer by Malezia with urea that is non-comedogenic.
