DOESN'T WORK: an 8-tooth wont fit on a 16 tooth like that (1 stud offset diagonal). you can see it if you use studio. I tested it, way too much friction because the gears push into each other.

is there a technic set that has all the parts required, or does this need to be done on the pick a brick website to get all the parts
@legotechnicmastery8 ай бұрын
There are unfortunately no sets that have all the parts but on bricklink.com you should be able to find all the parts you would ever need, individually :)

Hey Lego Technic Mastery, i saw this video 2 years ago and i saw that some people ask for instruction and you answered that you were working on it. Is this always in process or not ?
@legotechnicmastery9 ай бұрын
I have unfortunately not pursued this endeavor, taking on new studies in graphics programming quite a while back... I did several incomplete 3D models and had started building instructions using Stud.io, I'll check on the amount of work left to make them available... 😅

Well done! What are the final speed ratios in each gear, and how would you rate the overall torque capacity? Given all the half-thickness structural members, I worry about chassis flex or separation under the torque loads encountered in, say, a Technic offroader going uphill. Thanks!

Thx for posting. I tried it. True there is no slip anymore, but the diff looses the ability, where one wheel spins in the opposite direction as the other wheel. Because of that I don't understand the gain of this diff. For clarification, there is one output of 1. lego diff connected with 8 tooth gears to spin wheel of the 2. lego diff. And one ouput of the 2. lego diff is connected to the spin wheel of 1. lego diff. The intputs are connected to drive wheels (one with 16:16 tooth inverter to get the right spin).
