The Galluba & Hoffmann puppets are from the 1920s not the fifties. That you're not able to pronounce the names of Ignaz Gaugengigl and Birger Kaipiainen correctly, who cares, but as an American you really should be able to pronounce the names of your native people, it's not "Ambilimeck" but "Abimeleck".

My favorite part is when they think they have a high dollar piece and get a low ball appraisal and they try and fake what they are really thinking. 🗣$20 😡💭That's wonderful

Some very interesting pieces here. A shame that a couple are totally incorrectly narrated, namely a pencil portrait, shown as giant Easter egg moulds (?!?!) and the value of one narrated as “Four to five hundred dollars” but incorrectly underscored as “$4,500”. How do these errors pass muster!?!?

At 28:00 we have a treasure of book: made by schoolchildren, lead by a really bright teacher, who were capable to bring historic first hand information to the reader, and at the same time it is a testimony of real ingenuity, since they have to overcome the publishing economic boundaries in a very meaningful way. Every Library ( especially the North American ones, but also every such institution proud of their own function into society...) would be excited to own such an unique product of mind and education: just Great! 3-5000 $ for such a work is a good deal, and many should come out in order to acquire it and let it available to their public, with its own history notification. Loved it very, very much!

Nobody should bring that paper with the Nazi subscriptions to an auction, only old Nazis and new Nazis who are friends the motors of the Holocaust will buy that! She should give that to a museum, but not to a private auction! It always goes to the wrong hands!

32:21 Shows a point in time when Americans were free and not regulated to death or taxed out of their homes. Boy, what we have allowed our gov to get away with is shameful. Americans today are weak, lazy, invaded, and misguided to the point of allowing rulers in office, cuz they sure don't represent, never held accountable.

So, I wonder. With the existing tax laws, of course even though you have it appraised and even insured, you are not required to claim the value of an "antique" or collectable until you sell it. I understand that the law/rule is changing to say you must pay income tax upon the current value and every gain from now on of any assets. Why would anyone ever have anything appraised, or reveal it's existence?
